Wow, i can't believe you are actually making comments like this. The 1A schools in northern kentucky have decades of tradition that the 4A schools can't compare to. It is not common to have a player from Sk's or Dixie's or Scott's disctict to transfer to a 1A school just to play football. Sure the 4A schools have more boys but the amount of actual atheletes they have to choose from is far fewer than some of the 1A schools. Quality over quantity my friend, quality over quantity....

Good summary Neerfan, Gibson's play in the endzone was clearly in bounds, and if he was even an inch out of bounds it was interference, either way he will be a huge huge boost to this team. They are going to ween him in instead of just giving him the starting job. He also got some snaps in at CB replacing DJ Akerson. Seeing him go both ways wouldn't suprise me one bit. The recieving core as whole had a good game. I remember a Flee flicker to Kleeman where he had a very good catch and Ponzer had a nice TD catch. While i like the W put up by the pioneers the game gave me an uneasy feeling. They weren't playing to thier potential, but they will be alright in the long run. Look out for the pioneers.

TJ Dewalt is very very fast and Jordan Wilson will be more of a player on defense for SK. Haught is playing for SK and he looks very good as expected. He is a quality kid, and him and Bishop in the backfield is as good as you'll get in 4A. Haught actually plays more fullback than tailback. This does not impair the amount of carries he gets but it shows how tough he is. SK as a whole will be very tough this year.

Kleeman is a one year starter at reciever and at no point did i say bench him. I actually said the coaches will be loyal to him which means he will stay on the field. The point I'm making is that Gibson could rack up more yards than Kleeman being on the opposite side of him. The lineup would be Kleeman and Gibson at wideout and Ponzer at slot. I made no mention of starting anyone over Kleeman.:ylsuper: :ylsuper:

I also see SK's coaching staff being loyal to Kleeman, but Gibson has a chance to rack up more yards than Kleeman. He is a much more explosive player.

Bishop is a big big back. I love to watch him run, and when he lowers his shoulders into defenders he can be next to impossible to bring down. Nate Ponzer looked very very good . I see him and Tommy Gibson (who will start next week due to late paperwork in his transfer) being the Pioneers top two recievers this year pending the amount of receptions by TE Justin Kohrs. Tommy is very dangerous and is a player to watch for. Josh Elbert played some good ball but IMO he runs a bit too much and he should put that arm on display more often. Elbert is a D1 prospect. Enough said.

They have a couple of kickers that they alternate at the position. #30 Mark Schadler and not sure of the other players number but his name is Bryan King. They are both soccer players and they looked a little green tonight, but i'm sure they'll pull it together

I agree that #7 was a very good receiver, however he seemed a little soft or dazed playing safety on defense, had a few shots at big hits and didn't make contact, both were passes for touchdowns. Good start for SK, good luck to Lloyd the rest of the way.

Scott isn't even close to as nice as the other school's in the system. Oh and Paul Poland was a huge weapon

Sk will go up 28 - 0 first quarter and their varsity will not see action past the second half. seriously. Since last year Simon Kenton has done nothing but improve and Lloyd is smal and slow.

If SK doesn't completley blow Lloyd out of the water they should be embarassed.

Haught had the better game between the two but Bishop looked alright. He is a very good, very very big back. He will get his carries and his yards. Personally I'd love to see both guys have 1000 yards.

You don't think Simon will compete again this year? Only losing one starter, with a few sophomores ready to step up, and Seth Blevins back and healthy? I think they've got a good shot of taking it this year. Wade is a monster, I think everyone in the 8th hopes that he doesn't develop any offensive game, or they definitely have the chance to take it again.

What do you mean the talent is not there? How do you know the talent in Pendleton County that will occur in the next 20 years. Kids playing for Pendleton in 20 years aren't even born yet, so this is an unreasonble, uneducated assumption. There's a lot of parity in high school basketball, I would not be surprised to see them back in the next 2 decades.

Really, you're sure of this? So, do you love Shelby or just hate SK? SK has played quality teams this year, so give them a little credit, they're here for a reason, they played their way into the championship and deserve to be here, so cut them a little slack.

That was beautiful. I believe that Hester will have a big game tonight, he lives for these kind of situations. But it will take much more than one player to beat a team of this caliber. How big is Slaughter? Will Shambach be most likely to match up with him, as he is our best defender?
