Regarding the field alignment. It was originally the slow-pitch/fast-pitch field and the backstop and dugouts had already been there so no way they could demolish the dugouts and move everything out and rebuild everything. It is still a beautiful field. Best seat in the house is in the outfield in a lawn chair or on the hill.

If McKinlee Miller (8th grader) from Campbell Co can get her hitting figured out she can be an impact player. She is lightening fast and can cover a lot of ground in centerfield.

He is Campbell County's 1st 4X state champion and I think the first to ever go undefeated in his high school career for CC for sure. Here is what I like about Austin, none if this goes to his head. He is a great kid who will sit down and hold a conversation with you (I don't know much about the techniques of wrestling but if I ever have a question he will always sit down and explain it to me). The other thing I like about him is this, he really CARES about his education! I won't go into great detail but being a participant in the Border Brawl each wrestler received 2 tickets to the NCAA wrestling he decided not to go so he could come back to school. He gets it, he understands what being a student-athlete is and I couldn't be more proud of Austin and seeing him grow into the person he is today. I am very sad I won't be able to watch him wrestle again for CC.

I got a text this afternoon saying it was cancelled I can only guess Lafayette driving 1 1/2 hours and not being able to play, and didn't want to risk it. Really CC field couldn't take much more rain on it.

Yes and no...field got tore up by some people on Monday so it was a day behind plus I am pretty sure it couldn't take any rain.

I am confused by this statement. Because his kids are "smarter" it is easier to coach and what does CC have not very smart kids and Coach Russell's job is harder? Also if you don't think CC's team is all about the TEAM then you must not know this team very well.

The school just requests more, happened to CCHS last year.
