When you have a team staying in Richwood, that is a bit ridiculous. Where across the river would you like to have these kids stay?

This is coming from a person with a participant pass It was nice to park behind the arena for free as long as I had my team badge. Being I live 2 minutes from the arena it was nice not having to go to the high school to catch the bus. The KHSAA people I had to deal with were great but I also see them at another state tournament so they know who I am and were very helpful. I will say not BB&T but the events people had no clue what was going on. As of 6:00 PM on Wednesday they still couldn't figure out which badge could go where. They were going to kick one of our non-dressed players off the bench because her badge did not look like their image (their image did not have the region sticker on it). Coming from my neighbor who came to watch my team play, she loved her seats, she parked for free at the old city building but thought $18 for 2 pretzels ($10) & 2 bottles of water ($8) was ridiculous. I think there is a lot to be improved. I went to City BBQ after our day game and I asked them if they knew there was a state basketball tournament going on, she said, "We did not until some of the parents came in for a meal." This is sad to me and shame on KHSAA & Highland Heights Chamber of Commerce. Also having a team stay in Richwood, KY when the KHSAA staff is staying at the airport seems a little wrong. That is problem with the tournament in NKY there are not enough hotels in the area to hosts all the teams. Hypothetically if GRC won the 10th wouldn't they need a hotel? Where would they go?

It happened yesterday, too. 17 (FC) -1 (CC) in FT attempts in the CC/FC game as well. CC's only attempt was with 1 min left in the 1st half.

Actually, if they played at night there probably would have been more people in general there for Campbell Co. Someone donated 350 student tickets to the high school so this helped out with the student population but people wanted to come and support the girls and they did.

If NKU is making money of the Sweet 16 then it is their responsibility to promote the tournament. If Highland Heights is getting tax revenue from people eating at the restaurants then it is the responsibility of the Chambers of Commerce to promote the tournament. If KHSAA is making money off the tournament then it is their responsibility to promote the tournament.

17-1 in FT attempts is a bit ridiculous however, the game is over and CC lost but I could not be more proud of the CC girls. All year they had the never quit attitude and they had the community behind them. They were a fun team to watch.

It maybe down but Campbell County came out and supported their team.

I do not want to hijack this thread but in the 1st game 1 team shoots 1 FT and the other shoots 17 for the entire game, I see a problem.

Mercer Co can flat out shoot. It is fun to watch unless you are playing them.

Dayton high school has an athletic trainer who covers all of their sports. What schools must realize is especially with football, you have a kid who has a neck injury and you do not have a qualified medical professional there to stabilize the athlete's neck and has further issues, you will be poor paying for the lawsuit. I think it is neglect to think it is ok to field a football team without having an athletic trainer there. There are companies who provide an athletic trainer during football season than only have them co ER games during the winter & spring. It is possible to make it work

right...my point was, they had posted Holmes beating Ryle and their (Holmes/Ryle) game hadn't even started. Meaning the rankings went out before those 2 games started.

It was posted before the Holmes game as they actually had them winning before their game started.

I am so happy for these girls. I believe the 1st half they just couldn't get their legs going but then the 2nd half they were on cylinders. I have said this all year this team is fun to watch and you better be ready to run because they will run and run some more.

I am not trying to be fippant but how is Scott a better match-up for Mason than Bourbon? Mason beat Scott by 8 and Bourbon by almost 25 pts during the regular season. If it wasn't for those 2 missed FTs with :6.5 left in the game Mason is more than likely sitting at home this Friday night.
