I disagree it is too many games in a day IF it was a regular season tournament. However, it is too many games for a state championship tournament. Play a single elimination tournament and play on a college field. It is ridiculous the girls play in a city park and the boys play at a minor league baseball field.

There are a lot of reasons why kids get injured and in my opinion it is just not girls like people say in this thread. I have found switching from different surface gym floors is causing a lot issues. Shoes are another reason. You may buy the Stephen Curry or LeBron James shoe but let's be realistic here those shoes just have their name on them. These professional athletes do not wear their shoe alone, they have orthotics, extra padding on their insoles etc and they are not wearing the same shoe for a whole season. They probably wear a new pair of shoes every 2-3 weeks. There is so much break down in the shoes it is crazy.

This bothers me to no end. If these girls have played all season and worked their butts they deserve to play on high quality fields. If the KHSAA can't figure this out then shame on them. How is it the boys play on a minor league field and the girls get the shaft? In my opinion, make a single elimination tournament and play it at Louisville or UK. The girls deserve it just as the boys do. Growing up in Texas our state tournament was single elimination, the state tourney doesn't need to be double elimination. And now the state game(s) are played at the University of Texas. Show some respect for the girls KHSAA. Sorry for the rant but just ticks me off.

This right here! I will never understand why the girls have to play on city fields. The excuse will probably be because it is a double elimination tournament which is dumb. It should be a single elimination tournament. Most states do it at a Div I school.

Not sure but kind of nice not have to drive the 140 miles round trip. I have done it for 4 days but a chance to watch the kids play for a regional championship I would drive that any day of the week but happy I don't have too.

Well the game should have never been started, as soon as GRC took the field thunder started which both teams should have been told to get off the field but instead the umpires allowed the game to be started and their pitcher pitched 27 pitches and CC's pitcher never pitched. So not sure how the pitchers would be different. CC never took the mound and GRC only three 27 pitches.

No...CC vs GRC play tonight at 5:30 Whoever wins that game plays Scott at 10:30 tomorrow.

Yes it was. I am just saying you mentioned about their pitching being saved because they played Augusta. Even if they played BC it still would have been the same thing. They probably would have started Hoeh.

True. I don't think people realize even if you swap Augusta with Bracken (how the BC people think it should have been) I don't think it would have changed their pitching rotation. Brooks (8th graced) pitched against BC during the regular season and won.

Campbell still has plenty to go to but first has to get pass GRC.
