Are there any stand out lineman for FCHS, seems they got kind of thrown around last year up front?? Has to be one in there somewhere??

Just doesn't seem like you can beat out anyone from the big time programs. Thought for sure Timmons of FC had a shot last year, but seems like someone from the big venue gets it.

Big shoes to fill for FCHS. They will be not a Timmons or Woodside on this team. I am not completely sure..but if my last memory of the FC program, I think they return most of the lineman, and running backs from last years teams. If those kids were able to get better they could still have a nice team. Defense will hopefully be better, not sure how it could be worse. I agree with Coach B, trigger man is the concern. I do not remember anyone coming in late in games that showed much promise at QB. I do know that this group has been rumored to work much harder in the off season than the last few groups. Big names to me would be Chris Roberts, Landon Hurst, #27, not sure on his name.

Frankfort should be up for another great season. I am hearing they have a new Off. Coordinator though?

Well many have done it from my high school and I have coached personally 4 four that have done it successfully, add in playing with two in my own highschool. So they got red shirted, and that means it did not work............. Really good criteria man. By reading your post I have a sneaky feeling I am the expert and you are the uneducated one on this option.

Dude, seriously there have been thousands of kids that have done this with great success. Not sure what school mine is.......I mean I know that prom, senior skip day, and jacking around with your buds is really important in the grand scheme of life and all...but come on. What if a kid lives in a dangerous area, has a poor home life, or does not have the means to support himself at home, and college is a way for him to get away and start over...still only an idiot would allow this.?

Yes once you complete your high school credits you can graduate. Each state has a requirement that has to be met for graduation.

I dont think they are a door mat, but winning doesnt come easy, there is a reason why those schools came back on them. Conner was not exactly full strength vs Scott.

Franklin County QB Logan Woodside went to Toledo in December, and competed in the spring game this year. He busted his butt to finish the class work and had close to a 4.0 GPA I see no issues. KHSAA has no say in it at that point as long as his work is done and can be legally admitted into college.

Losses to Boyle, Lex. Cath, Danville, Scottsville, and one of the Lex Area schools.

I see a .500 type of season for Mercer.

Conner will be the team to beat. Stud qb with experience makes a supporting cast look might good.

That may be true they probably don't like it. But if you have ever coached a game with an awful crew that is bad year in and year out, you would know why its a good change. Also this loyalty and freindship they form can lead to a whole bunch of back covering, and dishonesty in games. Now each man has to be sure he worries about his own calls and integrity, not covering his buddies back, or defending him.
