Does anyone have the Mercer schedule? I haven't seen one anywhere.

vs. Allen County-Scottsville @ WKU

@ Danville

@ West Jessamine

vs. Central Hardin

@ Anderson County

@ LexCath

Open

vs. Marion County

@ Taylor County

vs. Boyle County

vs. Dunbar

I've been told that Mercer will be pretty young at the skill positions and looking to replace a couple of big linemen. Pretty good athletes all over the place, though.

Losses to Boyle, Lex. Cath, Danville, Scottsville, and one of the Lex Area schools.

The only other Lex school they play besides Catholic is Dunbar -- who is not very good. Mercer got them on a running clock last season. Paul Rains is a good coach, don't know if he is that good. There are so many systemic issue in FCPS that throw up roadblocks for coaches.

Dunbar or West Jess, also Central Hardin. Dunbar won't have the mascot playing qb forever man.

I feel that Mercer might go 6-4 or by a stretch 7-3. They won't beat Boyle or Lex Cath. They could lose 3 more, but I would guess 2. Anderson co will be a tough game as well as Allen co\Scottsville in Bowling Green and Danville.

West Jessamine should be a W -- by a comfortable margin. Dunbar's program is really bad... It will take a while to build something there. Central Hardin is a threat. They have good athletes and run "the System."

Anderson will be tough. Think they will beat Danville. The rubber match will be ACS.

I've said it too many times already. Mercer County will beat Boyle County this year. I can't wait until it happens because it's going to.

I'm looking forward to the next 4 years of Mercer football and praying that Pardue stays and that he is allowed to build this program the way I feel he will. The talent is there to finally get the Titans to where the true fans feel they can be and that is competeing with the likes of Boyle County and Lexington Catholic yearly for a district title. Baby steps must be taken first but I feel like this is the year we arrive at Boyle County's doorstep. Similar talent level at both schools for the next 4 years so hopefully the Titans take the first step to proving themselves.

It is good to see that Starks is now going for a district title for Mercer rather than 2nd place. Hopefully for Mercer's sake Pardue has better success building a program than he did in maintaining a great program at Boyle. What a disaster!

I feel like Pardue has less pressure at Mercer County than he did at Boyle County and the few conversations I have had with Mercer County fans/parents about Pardue have all been positive.
