What happens to South Oldham now that Jack Sherry graduates?

S. Oldham as well as Cooper both will have new QB's and Conner just like Cooper has a lot of new players that will be on their lines this year.

 

S. Oldham was my first pick to win the district this upcoming year, but a lot of it has to do with their QB play.

It should be a fun year and any of those 3 teams can win the district, all depends on the play of the new starters in those positions.

I fully agree SO is the favorite with virturally everyone back with the exception of Sherry however Scott is the sleeper that no one better take their eye off of. They could be the Cooper of 2011 with alot of returning players.

Could be, but the main question with conner is not their offense as much as their defense. Last year they gave up an average of 25.6 pts a game. No one questions Barker, the question is can he put up enough points to overcome a defense that allows a lot of points?

 

It's a 3 dog race imo and each of the 3 have a big question to answer.

1. South Oldham - QB play is the big question for them

2. Conner - Defense and line are the big questions for them

3. Cooper - QB play and Line will be their big question

Conner has no defense they will be lucky to win 5 games this year.

I think #20 Grimm and he was a SR last year.That is just off the top of my head. It could have been #21 Banks and he was a SR as well.

You obviously have not looked into the class they carry. Almost all of the starters have had their spots on the field since they were sophomores (Upcoming Seniors). They have many players being recruited, supposedly the "best" class to come out in the school's history. You also have to remember that they do not have the enrollment size of Cooper, Conner, etc. It will be interesting to see what they do this year.

What is their class size? It's got to be pretty close or they wouldn't have been put in class 5A 2 years ago.

I don't think anyone said Scott will be winning a state championship this year. But they are bringing back a very solid team. They had a great year rushing and pretty good defensive year. Yes they did get beat by some really good teams. But they also only lost to Conner by 7 and had control of that game for awhile until Conner had a great comeback. So I know most people think they are a door mat to walk on. Just keep an eye out for them They will be enjoayble to watch and will surprise some people.
