  1. Just curious..... didn't Dixie only have 3 wins last year?
  2. I agree on the quarterback play needing to improve. Hopefully having taller recievers and more time at center will help him this year. Josh and Roberto will get yards but don't count out Spata also. This group will be made up of alot of seniors who have played together since 8th and 9th grade. So I look for good things to come out of this season.
  3. You are correct. Winning doesn't come easy in this division. The teams seem to be closely matched. And yes they lost some games because of mistakes late in the game but thats part of learning for these boys. Scott returns alot of starters and will have alot of seniors playing this year. Something they haven't had in the past. I think it will be pretty interseting to see how things shake out this year with so many questions for all of the teams in the division. Also there aren't mnay teams that are full strength all season. I think Scott only had a few games where all the starters were on the field at one time.
  4. I don't think anyone said Scott will be winning a state championship this year. But they are bringing back a very solid team. They had a great year rushing and pretty good defensive year. Yes they did get beat by some really good teams. But they also only lost to Conner by 7 and had control of that game for awhile until Conner had a great comeback. So I know most people think they are a door mat to walk on. Just keep an eye out for them They will be enjoayble to watch and will surprise some people.
  5. For the record I dont hate Trame. I barely know the guy. Just stating things Ive seen and heard. I dont have a kid who plays baseball so Im not a disgruntled parent for baseball either. I just know there are plenty of parents and players very unhappy and I hope things get better for the program.
  6. Kids can decide where they want to go if they live in Kenton County. So believe me they go to Dixie and SK over Scott that is well documented. I for one would love to see all the kids that are in Scotts district go there. My son goes there and i have alot of friends whose kids go there. And there are alot of parents unhappy with that school. I know they are making changes to make things better but they have a long way to go. As far as me saying Trame was a bad person or coach that is incorrect. I never mentioned names. And the coach i said should be the Varsity head coach is and assistant Varsity coach not Freshman. But anyway you bash all you want. I just see and hear alot being around that school as much as I am. I hope it gets better before my younger kids get there. I am an Eagle supporter not hater.
  7. You could say something like that...... feel bad for those boys. Some real good kids on that team.
  8. Congratulations to Pete and Brenden. Hope things go weel for them .
  9. I know there have been alot of discipline issues there. And from what I have heard and seen alot has to do with coaches. It's to bad since there are 3 very good coaches up there. The Frehsman and JV head coaches and a Varsity assistant who should have gooten the job when Roberts left, the rest seem to think they are above the players. Interested to see what you are talking about Gmen since myself along with many others have alot to do with kids coming to this school.
  10. Talking about the JR class. You mentioned no depth in pitching. They kept pitching from the basketball team. Ohmer and Pouncy are good but those tow and Kramer are all they have.
  11. Not good when you keep pitchers before trying them out just because they play basketball. I will take Ryle in this matchup.
  12. Everett may return this year still. He had problems before football and bounced back. I was wondering how the junior pitchers were since the jv had a pretty solid season last year. And if Kramer is pitching who will be the cathcer?
  13. Now that Scott has actaully held a few days of tryouts. How does the pitching situation look now? Are there any juniors who have some promise to help the seniors?
