Franklin County 2013

Featured Replies

What does Franklin County need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Anybody? Since we are making the trek down there this year those of us up in Fort Mitchell would like to hear about your team.

It will be interesting to see how they replace to D1 players on offfense, in Woodside and Timmons.

Toughest job for this coaching staff this year is finding a Trigger Man to run the offense. They still have plenty of skill kids and weapons that can make big plays. My experience watching the system revolves around the QB and how much of the offense he can handle.

Big shoes to fill for FCHS. They will be not a Timmons or Woodside on this team. I am not completely sure..but if my last memory of the FC program, I think they return most of the lineman, and running backs from last years teams. If those kids were able to get better they could still have a nice team. Defense will hopefully be better, not sure how it could be worse. I agree with Coach B, trigger man is the concern. I do not remember anyone coming in late in games that showed much promise at QB. I do know that this group has been rumored to work much harder in the off season than the last few groups.

Big names to me would be Chris Roberts, Landon Hurst, #27, not sure on his name.

#27 is Lorenzo McCaskill Coach, great player too. QB is without a doubt the big question mark.

Are there any stand out lineman for FCHS, seems they got kind of thrown around last year up front?? Has to be one in there somewhere??

How will Franklin County stack up to the rest of the teams in their district this fall.

I wonder the same thing they had some close calls last year, Timmons bailed them out more than once, I look for the district to be competitive, Anderson looks to be strong as well as the Jessamines.
