Looks to me like Pikeville still has the attitude problem they had last year. It will haunt them again it look like this season.

I was very surprised by this one, Belfry played a decent game, and their backs are going to be very hard to handle. I think after this team gels together they have a very bright future ahead of them this season. There were plenty of mistakes tonight but overall I thought the Pirates made a statement with this game. Go Bucs!

I totally agree, Steve was a great man, and an example to all. I am sure the players will be playing with a lot of emotion tonight, and thier hearts will be heavy. There will be other anouncers at Belfry High School but there will never be another Steve Phillips.

I have recieved word that Mr. Phillips "The Voice of the Pirates" passed away at around 10am this morning. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. There will be many heavy hearts at the Pike County Bowl tonight, Belfry Football, and the entire community has lost great man.

Prayers are out to Mr. Phillips and his family, I know that come tomorrow night there will be a definite absence from CAM Stadium, and the Pond Creek Nation will have their thoughts with Mr. Phillips.

Prayers go out to Mr. Phillips, I can tell you one thing, this Belfry fan will sure miss his familiar voice come tomorrow night.

I'm hearing that the Pike County Bowl games for each night have been moved back one hour, which would give a kick off time of 7:05 for each beginning game.

Very nice field... I don't care much for the gold lines, but it is a very nice field.

Heck, I don't know about everyone else but I can't wait for football season. I am very excited about the upcoming season, I think we will see some different looks from Belfry this year, I hope the passing game comes along as I think it will. Ivan Lee if used in the backfield should be a stud!
