The score wasn't ran up. IT WASN"T. Almost all of the subs played around 12-13 minutes. Thats almost half the game. It would not be fair to the starters who have been there longer and put in more time to play them less than half the game regardless of the score. It is a cycle you know. The kids sitting most now will be the ones getting all the playing time in a couple years and GUESS WHAT? someone else will be filling up the bench. It has been like this for ages. YOU sure you played?? How you doin!!

The Scott Co fans I Called and asked..Said they didnt know about the whole state but in the Holmes/Scott Co game it was Ge'Lawn Guyn. I guess everyone has their own opinion.

If you go by statistics Ferguson looks really good. Freshman-- 20ppg, 6rebds, 2steals Made it to region finals and won MVP. Sophomore- 23.9ppg, 6rebds, 2.5asst, 2.5 steals Scored 53 in 2 games at State and made KHSAA All Tourney, and Honorable Mention All State Junior- 25.9ppg, 5.5rebds, 3asst, 3steals Game High scorer and rebounder against Mason in First round of state. 2nd team All State. Senior- As of right now 32.5ppg, 6rebds, 2asst, 5steals Very close to 3000pt mark

Have not saw any reports on East Carter. Have they played any games yet?

I think it would be fun getting to take that many shots in a game. I know Hood would rather take less and win, but thats not going to happen. If I was him I would let it fly about thirty times a game and enjoy my last year. He should lead the state in scoring putting up that many shots.

Uh!:confused: That was the point! IMO Concerning Elliott's team, they don't need the tougher schedule in regular season because of 6 years of tough comp. on the national level seeing every press and defense known to man.:thumb:

Well you can take one verse of his post and make it mean about anything, but if you read it all he implied that it wouldnt make no difference to Elliott boys if they was playing the incredible hulk... they would bring the same game regardless of the "weak 16th region schedule". Their weak schedule is not they only basketball they play(they play national comp all summer for last 6 years) so I PERSONALLY say it don't amount to a hill of beans:thumb:

Elliott schedule is fine. Fans of other teams only complain because they see them as a threat that normally isnt there. Five years ago know one knew they existed so to speak. Least not on the "talk about it level".

Thats exactly what RA09 and others are doing to, and evidently you don't like what they are thinking either because you just keep coming back and trying to refute what they are saying also. Thats kinda like the pot calling the kettle black.:lol:

RA09 you might as well give it up. Ferguson and the Faulkner twins will never get the credit they deserve because they are at a very small school. You will not get through to anyone. Those kids have done enough in the last few years in high school and summer and everyone has sat by and watched them do nothing but win, and still do not give them a just due. Might as well let it rest.

So what does the fact that he averaged 26-28 a game against High school defense last season mean. And do you put much stock in the defense that is played in those(high school) games? And before you say he done it in the 16th...Elliott played 8 games out of the 16th region last year and in those eight he avgd 29.3. He had 46 in two games combined against the best team in the state!! I don't know how you would rate their defense. In my eye's it makes him better than a lot of the players you put in front of him. Theres hardly any of them had the numbers or %'s he has had or did and very few of them drew the other teams best defender night in and night out as he did last year. You are entitled to your opinion though as am I, and in mine he is in the top ten!!:thumb:

Wrong guess. His father works for airports mainly and his home office has been in Georgetown for years. His mother no longer teaches at Rose Hill so I guess he saw the perfect opportunity to move closer to the main office and not have to drive from Boyd Co. to Georgetown.:thumb:

If this is true I wish him the best he is a fine young man. If I were his father I would have moved a long time ago. He has been driving to Georgetown for work for a few years now.

According to friends in Elliott Co......the Morgan kid is not playing.

From the games I have saw this summer, Ferguson and the Faulkner twin's are the top three players in the 16th region.

According to Fergusons Dad(my source in Cincy) The Faulkners and Ferg are playing really well and so is the other guys. Phares, Macon, Bevins, Donavan and Clevenger are playing well enough to get Coaches attention. Meyers has some type of injury and isnt playing much at all.

Just got a call from Ferguson's dad in Cincy ....said to tell everyone that the boy's(team) had church sevices this morning and not to worry. Coach Vanhoose was taking good care of them.

There were six junior's on the team that were at the U.K. Elite camp. They all played seven games at U.K. camp. Some of them played several games saturday also. All six of those players played hard but you could tell that they were leg weary by their shooting and especially on defense. I say the seniors will win again wednesday, but a little rest and some practice together for the juniors will make it a little closer! Senior's by 18.
