Walton did a good job breaking SK defense pressure.This was a good game to watch.The Ponzer cousins really got after each other.:fight:

Bustle is really turning into a good Quaterback.Simpson played big on offense and defense.I think Ryle came into this game taking SK lightly.SK defense looked really good.Shut Schmitz down for the most part.Ryle had 2or3 fumbles.BIGGGGG win SK!!!!!!

Benson should be leading NK in tackles.He has a motor that never stops.One of the hardest hitters in NK.

The battle of the winless teams.I have to go with my Pioneers!!!!!!

Just got back from the scrimmage.Both teams started out sluggash.Dayton took the opening kickoff down the field and scored a TD thanks to a nice opening kickoff return.Then both offenses could not get nothing going.SK got its offense going thanks to Miles Simpson he had 2 tds on offense and a interception on defense and was on the kickoff return team.Bustle had a decent game and had a couple good runs.The second team had a couple tds.Zach Kaiser[44] had a nice td run about 60 yd run.[14]Sean Travis i thank his name is had a TD pass.Final score36-12.SK definatly has to get things together before next week.:creepy:

Who will get the Simon Kentons Quaterback Job ?Any front runners?

I thank Benson from Dixie (LB) will be one of the top (LB) from Northern Kentucky this year.He won the game for Dixie against my PIONEERS last year.Made a big stop on Bishop on fourth down when SK was trying to run the clock out.

68-31 was the girls score.I heard the Boys won by 50

The 1981 Simon Kenton Pioneers was a story book season.October 11 1980 there was an explosion at the school.We had to go to a diffrent school for 3 month's going from 2:00 til 8:00.So it was hard to even have a practice,and nowhere to practice.So it was amazing that they could make a run at the sweet sixteen much less win it!:banana: They might not be the best team to win the Sweet Sixteen but it sure was a storybook season.There is a book out that talks about the whole 1980-1981 school year,its very interesting.Its called "PIONEER SPIRIT" :thumb:

Campbell County won 48-31.Right before halftime Campbell County intercepted a pass,Bishop tried to track down the guy and got rocked.They had to call the life squad to take him to the hospital. Not sure of the injury they had a neck brace on him but he was talking and moving his arms and legs.Lets all say a prayer for him.

Haught and Bishop both had big games.Holmes could not stop them.S.K. could not stop Holmes in the second half.There speed was killing S.K. the Pioneers were looky to get out of there with a win.:ylsuper:

That was one heck of a game.Both teams left everything on the field.I do beleave that they should have punted on 4th down,but Benson made a heck of a play stuffing Bishop.IMO Benson is one of the best linebakers in Nothern Kentucky.:thumb:

Tommy Gibson had a decent game.He ran the opening kick off back to the Boone 15 yard line and caught a 68 yard touchdown pass:ylsuper:

Boone was rushing 8or9 guys Elbert didnt have time to do anything.

Farris could not be stopped not sure how much yardage he had:cry:

I say S.K. wins 31-20.I think the running game will where them down.I also think Tommy Gibson will have his coming out party.
