Sorry if this is already up, but i've looked for a linebacker thread and cant seem to find one, so here it is.

My favorites so far-

Highlands-55-Stein

Dixie-52-Benson

I haven't seen all the teams in person yet so there are a few to start off with, lets here it!

Stein is a great choice. I would also have to add Joe Fitzgerald of HHS to the list also. He seems to be in on EVERY play! Ryan Ball and Zach Hurtt are too talented to leave off, also....heck, HHS second wave of LB's would be an outstanding group also!!

Of course at Dixie right now it is Benson but in my opinion in the next few years Raliegh and Wolfe will be real good at Dixie

Yes, Rudder I agree with you there, Wolfe and Raliegh will definatly be the future at Dixie. Wolfe has great athletisism and will make tackles everywhere, Raliegh is like a torpedo (splchk) he will launch himself at you.

All of the HHS linebackers have been mentioned except one, Roller! I know he is young and still maturing but, this kid can play the game of football. He is football smart and is only going to get better each game!!!

Brian Sauerbeck from Campbell Co. has to make this list. The kid is a beast on the field.

Adam Schmitz from Ryle is an all-around great HS player not just at LB, but RB.

What about Adam Schmitz? He can hit - has 4 sacks so far this year, 2 forced fumbles, interception, 2 rumble recoveries and has really only played in two full games. He also starts on offense! He has to be one of the best up here.

I gave props to your boy Schmitz above. Trust me, you watch him play a few times, you can't leave him off a list like this.

ABSOLUTELY !! By the time he's done, we'll be sick of writing props about him!! (LOL)

Benson should be leading NK in tackles. He has a motor that never stops. One of the hardest hitters in NK.
