Maybe the 5A schools can contact the teams that the 4A schools had to boot and add them to their schedule. That would solve some of the scheduling problems.

I would like to see internet broadcasting as a class at HHS and start broadcasting all athletic events (if possible) and get the students to help with the broadcast. There are a lot of people who cannot make the away games who would love to hear it on the net!

Derek did play ball for a few years. Kyle Pfetzer L P 1B also was on the team that won back to back regions in 96-97. He went on to pitch at NKU and had a pretty good career there. Matt Mason might have been the C those years also. After the game, however, Highlands sophomore Derek Smith was the main topic of conversation. Smith hit a two-run homer and pitched the final three innings to nail down a 5-3 win over Holy Cross that completed a unique trifecta for the Bluebirds. Highlands became the first local high school to win regional championships in football, boys' basketball and baseball in the same school year.

Oh my God!! My sister stopped by at 8:25 and she said the banquet is still going on. She said they created new awards and they haven't even got to the coach's gifts yet when the seniors talk about a coach and give them a gift. It started at 12:30 :scared::scared:

Our family to this day still calls this the "Dark Years" of Highlands football. Would of love to see Skip get the job instead of Eicher but it just didn't happen!

If this is the same person I have seen by Warner's, you guys better look closer because I think "she" is a he dressing like a she. I have also been told by a couple of others that its a cross dresser.

Not the same without the rebounding echo from the building. It's always fun to watch the visiting fans in attendance for the first time jump when it goes off for the first time. I’ve been going to the games forever and I still get a kick out of it when they get jump. It's time to move it back down.
