After last night i would have to say that Austin is the most athletic and talented player in the 9th Region. He could drive on CCH and than he could hurt them from outside. He is something else. But a GREAT win for the Colonels. I know both the team and the Crazies can't wait to get that berth to Rupp.

I take CCH winning the region. They are peaking at the right time and coming together very well. In the beginning of the season it seemed if Todd didnt have a great game, neither did CovCath. Now, while they still hope for him to play well, if he has an off night they are much more capible of making up for that. They could still use some work from the big men, but i like the way they are coming together.

So St. Henry had the bye.......and lost........thats disappointing, good win for Conner!!

Was this the first round of Districts. And does anyone know who one the other game?

^No truth to this my friend,... we will be getting refs from the district with Elizabeth town. But if this was true guess u couldnt blame them could ya lol

As a Cov Cath fan, i thought it was a great game. Both teams played very well, CovCath j/ had a longer run and played better for longer. Great Year HC. Not many believers at the beginning of the year but what a year. For all the talk earlier though of how good sorrell is, he didnt impress me at all tonight. Made 4 free throws, i expected more. Great game. Good student section as well

If we want to talk about 3 point shooter how about i throw out my boy Chris Roll. I know he is not gettin Varsity minutes and im not going to argue about him not gettin minutes nor will he if u ask him (great kid), but the kid can flat out shoot the 3 ball. Dont believe me? Ask Bishop Brossart when the boy went 4 for 4. One of these he was on a break away and pulled up for 3. Kid can shoot the ball. I almost had him in PIG one time too (my claim to fame). Sorrell is good, but take a look at everything from another point of view HC. Hes a good player but is he what CovCath needs? the Answer to that question is no. He knew that and this is why i believe he went to HC. Just like Michael Romes, i wish the kid the best of luck and hope he becomes an amazing talent, but dont go makin outrageous claims or puttin other players and schools down.

Look at Cov Caths losses, they have lost to some very good teams, none of which were blowouts other than the Elder game. This team is coming together at just the right time in the season. Everyone is contributing, DNoll is becoming a great inside presence, Billy is coming around, and they are playing team ball. I dont see anyone in the 9th beating them. Is it true Holy Cross will try to buy out the gym to stop the ^th man in the stands for covcath?

Cov Cath will not only be honoring the 5 basketball players, but will also be honoring Jonathan "JRob" Robinson, Casey "CPop" Papas, and Richard St. Onge. JRob and Cpop have been helping with managing teams in both football and basketball ever since their sophmore year. Alot of things that happen wouldnt be able to run as smoothly without these two. A couple great young gentlemen. St. Onge is the senior photographer. He does a great job and will also be honored.

I asked Tony about talking to the cheerleaders mom. He told me that he and the cheerleader used to be very good friends and hadnt seen each other in a while. He said he was just catching up with the family. Great kid, wouldnt be caught dead disrespecting an adult. Just being friendly chatting while doing a little sunbathing

Larkin is a natural 2nd basemen and the lefty you are talking about is Alex Frommeyer who didn't graduate but isn't at all in the battle for Catcher. Chris Farrell is. Chris started in the Regional games and in the Regional Finals. Chris has a cannon and experience behind the plate in big games. Chris should be the number 1 guy right now. But who knows with Krumps!!

CCH played good till the second half. I believe Brossart only missed 3 free throws, as you can see they were crucial. Also CCH didnt shoot there first free throw till 45 seconds left in the game, kinda of lop sided fouls. On the possitive note. Billy Schult is actually becoming more than just a hustler and a rebounder. He again scored 10 points after coming off his 9 point effort againist Ryle. Also TJ had 12 and Tim had 12 than Noll followed up with 10 also.

IMO i think Hester is better than Jefferson. Hester is faster and quicker if that is hard to believe than DJ. Also Hester has a lot better shot and he doesht have the Hill or the Henderson around him. DJ gets a lot of credit because the team he is on but he also has a better supporting cast around him.

Yes i heard that too, Not really sure on the exact amount but im sure Nathan, Nick Hudepohl and Sam Flynn can all squat High 400's or mid 500's.

There were bad calls but I don't believe to change the outcome of the game. Everyone is saying that CCH was up by 9 4th quarter. But CCH was down by 13 and 10 the entire game. CCH battled back but Scott County was to much but for a Number 3 team in a region to fight the whole game with the number 5 team in the STATE. Hats off to CCH on a great game and also there Student Section was top notch the second half....I bet the students wish they had an opposing Student Section to really strut there stuff.

He does have the size and the heart to play baseball in college. Just to know if he is good enough for D-1. Now i dont know how competitive U of Tampa is but i would say being in Flordia playing from Feb. to late June they would be competitive than any schools up here. So i hope he is successful and I would say hes good plus potential rather than just potential.

CCH will win by 4 or less IMO. Than HC will beat Ryle pretty handely.

Bill Krumpelbeck from CCH...9 regional championships....19 consecutive 20 win seasons...and 1 State Championship. Which included the best record in the Nation at 40-3. Best coach in the State!!

I look for CCH to have a pretty good golfer in Myles Mahan. He might make some noise down at state. Definetly the top in NKY next year.
