Wow! Me personally would have taken that offer especially since Luke was dealing with the Red Sox. How many players have ever been drafted in the 43rd round and have talked to the team about a early round offer? So why did Boston wait until the 43rd round to draft Luke if they were going to offer that kind of money?

What is Miles not good at on the football field? I'm sure himself or his dad could find something but none of us.

Throw them all in a hat, shake it up, and pull out a name. Its a toss up every year.

Kellen Smith is the best point guard in the 10th. He shut Jordan Armstrong and Jordan Smith down last year and had a better year as only a sophmore. I also think Daniel O'Conner, Jake Nieddereger, and Keylo Jones from Scott will be top players in the Region by season tip.

Congrats to Luke and the Maile family. Big dream for a kid but be smart and head to Lexington for 2 or 3 years and then will probably be a top draft pick.

I agree he is extremely raw. But I can see him contributing on the defense of end. Long and Athletic. Carr is really good at improving players, I don't think O'Connor is nearly as good as he is without Carr.

If you can win this year than go for it IMO. Carr built depth with his team two years ago to get them ready to compete for last year and this.

I agree, but Scott will be very big and very athletic. Jake Niderager will break out his senior year and Keylo Jones is athletic as they come. They also have a 6'5 PF transfer from an Ohio high school I can't think of. He is a junior and extremely raw. He is athletic though and should be good on the defense of end. Scott will have a big drop off from their starting 5, which should go in height 5'10 6'3 6'4 6'5 and 6'7. Where Scott will be hurting is depth, they lose a lot from last years team. Scott's bench is going to be a problem, especially early on, I would not be suprised to see the starting 5 playing close to 28 minutes a game, and will not be suprised if Kellen doesn't play every minute of every meaningful or close game.

I'm saying that I didnt see anyone in the 10th that was better than him and I saw every team play this year. This would make him better than any other player in the 10th. Whether or not there are several good players in the Region and I know there are but clearly not as good as Ej which would make him the best player in the 10th.

Its an opinion and I think it is true. I didnt see one player this year that was better than Ej that played in the tenth.

Cangrats Ej, glad Scott finally gets some recognition and gets a player to accept this award. This is well deserved as i think Ej is by far the best player in the region and up there in the state. Congrats Ej again and the Eagles.

We (Scott) would like to thank all that was in attendace for the Regional Tourney and appreciated having each and everyone of the fans who did attend. It was a pleasure for Scott to finally host the Region and besides the weather, it was a smooth ride except the Eagles coming up short. Congrats to all who made the tourney and thanks for a great tournament!

This game was never in doubt as Scott is hitting the ball well right now and they hit Mynear very well for a kid throwing mid 80's.

The game is still scheduled for 6 o'clock and that is a smart call. If it does rain this afternoon, that gives the Scott crew time to work on the field and have it ready for game time without any delay like we've had all week. BTW, GO EAGLES!!!!

Murray pitched 7 innings Wenesday against Bourbon Co. I don't believe he is eligible. I heard the game was supposed to start at 6, but is being pushed up due to the potential of rain. Anyone know if this is the case?
