Good to see NKU take a look at a local NKY kid. Congrats to Mr. Lokesak.

Good pick up by NKU and congratulations to Daniel! He is fun to watch!

Great sign by NKU, great ballplayer

Really happy for him and his Dad. Outstanding young man, and from what I understand he wants to be a fireman.

Congrats Daniel.

Congrats to Daniel on a great accomplishment!! Daniel is one of the greatest kids I have ever met. Northern Kentucky is getting themselves a great athlete, and an A+ kid. I don't know the family well, but I have heard he gets his athletic abilities from his mother.

I couldn't be happier for this fantastic young man!!!

Awesome! Good luck

Outstanding job, Daniel :dancingpa

Great baseball player and even better person. Will enjoy being able to watch you play in college. It's been fun watching you improve and mature in this great game.

Very cool. Congrats. NKU's program is most certainly on the rise, so he is joining at the optimum time. Best of luck!!

Agree with everything in this thread (especially the crack about the maternal bloodlines for athletic ability). Great news for a great young man. CONGRATS and best wishes always to Mr. Lokesak!

Congratulations Daniel!!

It seems like not to long a go I was "watching" you play football(for a little while:)) for the Bearcats.

Then spending a week with you in Cooperstown, NY.

You are absolutely a great kid...young man!!

Once again congratulations!

I think it's amazing when kids receive accolades for their accomplishments, like signing a LOI or committing to play at the next level. However, all of these posts scream about the kind of kid he is, and that's what counts in my book.

It just keeps getting better for his family...

Way to go Daniel, NKU has definitely got themselves a great student athlete. It's been a pleasure watching you play baseball and football these last 3 years. Good luck!!!!!!! Wish you all the best and hope to see you on the fireground sometime in the future.

Congratulations and good luck!
