I have seen CovCaths students section, and it was at a Football game to get them to the state Championship, and I will say the Kids from Ashland IMO put on a better show, all due respect to CovCath. Congrats to the Tomcats and Coach Buddy Biggs. They looked good from all points on the floor. Like I said, Ashlands student Section was AWESOME. But I must say I was disappointed with Boyd County's fans lack of enthusiasm, especially the Students. But it was a good game all around for the Tomcats, from the floor to the stands. Maybe Im just being an optimistic Raider fan, but whos to say he wont turn it around and be the next John Madden. A Young, Offensive minded coach, IMO, is what this program needs. Keep Ryan, the defense is pretty good. Start with drafting one of the top QBs and build a offense from there. Every NFL legend had to start somewhere. Im not saying hes the next legend but he cant do much worse than what Shell did last season. Al Davis is far from Yoda, Yoter

I Like his age. I think the Raiders need a young gun whos has nothing to loose and isnt afraid to take some chances. You never know, this could be the next John Madden. Or he could be fired in a year, Yoter

I found this thread today during class and as soon as I got home I found myself going to Africa. Im amazed that we are all watching a pond and not doing something constrctive like arguing about whos high school football team is better. We sure know how to use our time wisely, Yoter

Although it wasnt much of a "game" to watch it was a great performance. The CATS dominated on both ends of the floor. It would sure be nice to see the dominance back in Kentucky Basketball. Lets hope Crawford stays hot, Yoter

Kentucky will beat Florida or LSU. Kentucky will beat Tennessee. Kentucky will win the games they are supposed to win. Kentucky will finish in the regular season with 8 or 9 wins. I feel like a broken record, Yoter

Great news for the Big Blue Faithful. Little, Woodson and Burton all returning along with a new defensive coordinator, my 8 or 9 win regular season prediction is looking more and more promising. Cant wait for Commonwealth to Rock, Yoter

I agree 100% It was Floridas Championship and Floridas alone. However, I agree with LRCW that the level of competition that Florida was required to play at in the SEC better prepared them for this game than what the Big 10 did Ohis State. Florida deserves all the credit, not the long wait for the Buckeyes or their weak schedule or injuries, this Championship was won by the Gators and they won it in Grand fashion. The Big 10 is a Big Joke. I hate to be one of these posters to run my mouth after a big win but Im just tired of everyone giving the SEC the shaft. In the South Eastern Conference you play a higher level of competition. And thats why Florida won tonight, they were battle tested, and stronger for that. This just makes me wonder what Auburn would have done a couple of years ago but I guess we will never know. I just find it hard to believe that a proven Coach would want to come to Oakland. Al Davis has made his personality known and its not real liked. Oakland needs to take the same attitide in a coach as they need to take in a Quarterback - Young and unproven. They are in a situation now that they are going to have to take a risk on both accounts. I agree. A Quarterback should be the number 1 priority for the Raiders. I would say a proven, established head coach should be #1 but no one like that would want to come to this orginization. But who knows, maybe some young gun could come in and win some football games. Wating for the good ole Silver and Black, Yoter

Ive posted in other threads that I believe the Cats will be competative and build and be better than this season. 45 of their top 51 This is my reasoning. Kentucky, except for one game, was competative in the SEC. Kentucky will be a GOOD football team next season. Like I said in another thread, 8 or 9 wins in the regular season. Actually someones just believing, thats what true fans do. My Dad taught me theres one true color and thats Kentucky Blue. Ill never change and Im proud to say Im a Wildcat. And I see cahnge in this program. I dont count my chickens before the eggs hatch, Im just calling em how I see them. Trust me, the festivities have yet to begin, Yoter
