I'm pulling for Buckhorn but I think PCC will be too much for them. PCC 72-67.

I think it's better if they switch out. I don't know where the officials the refed last year's regional tournament was from, but they did a superb job in my opinion.

Do not like this at all. In my opinion, I think only three schools should be able to host region: Knott, PCC, and Breathitt.

Stepp was just too much tonight for the Bobcats. They put different people on him the whole night, but nobody could do anything with him. Cox is still not getting as many shots as he should, but a win is a win I guess.

How was it this close? Has Wolfe county improved that much since the beginning of the year

If JBS plays team ball, they will win be 15+. But if not, then they will probably end up winning by about 5 or 6.

Sounds like it was a good one. The Owls must be improving with each game, and if I recall Professor, you said they would be much improved near the end of the season. Good Call :thumb:.

I didn't think Buckhorn would be as good as they were last season, but they have surprised me this year. They have a great coach and a great post player in Zach Gay and one of the best shooters in the region with Blank.

Good win for Jackson City.

His team is not doing as well as I thought they would this year, but I would still say Drew Davidson from Jackson City is one of the toughest players I've seen. I don't know how much he weighs but it can't be that much and he's only 5'10 yet he challenges anybody when he takes it to the goal.

I think they can contend. My only problem with them would be that they have been kind of inconsistent this year. But I know Coach Lively will have them ready come tournament time, and they should be a team to watch out for.

This will be a close one. Powell has the advantage inside with Romans, but Hazard has Hicks and we all know what he can do. I'll say Powell will barely come out with a win in this one.

I'll say Leslie by 10+.

I agree with you 100% horn. They gave JBS all they wanted in the All A Tournament, and when this team can hit from the outside, they are tough to beat.

Sounds like it was a great game. Everybody better watch out for these two teams come tournament time.

Someone told me that Cox only attempted six shots in this one :creepy:. If June Buchanan wants any chance of winning the region, they have to get him involved more. From what I've seen recently, Clark's younger brother has become the second option on offense. I'm not saying he will or he won't, but I do think that Cox would be better off some place else.
