Sounds like it was a good one. The Owls must be improving with each game, and if I recall Professor, you said they would be much improved near the end of the season. Good Call :thumb:.

The owls played in this one with few mistakes but the thing that hurt them the most was 11/27 from the free throw line other than that a hard played game for the owls, im impressed with the improvment

Could there be a possible upset with the Bobcats in the first round of district?

I don't believe it would be much of an upset. Owsley is home and playing the best they played all year. They even gave Powell a run at Bonneville. Lee better bring thier A game or it will be an early exit this year.

??????? You are joking right? I have been hearing that the Owls aren't even practicing everyday? Any truths to that Prof? The Owls have a storied past and some great kids and supportrers but it would take the Owls at their best and the Bobcats at their worst for anything special to happen.

I'm assuming they are practicing, but I haven't been to any of their practices this year, since I am now retired and no longer around the program. Plus, I believe the school has a "closed practice" policy, so one wouldn't be permitted in anyway.

I agree with your assessment of the district game with Lee. It's not impossible for the Owls to win the game, but they would have to put together their best game of the season to do so. The problems in all their losses to Lee this year has been the inability to handle Lee's press. In both losses, Lee scored many of their points off Owsley turnovers.

If Owsley could cut their turnovers in half. They would be a top team in the region.
