Western Kentucky University was at the game. I'm not sure who they would be watching. Maybe Brian Hubbard of Leslie (shooter & defense) or Zach Gay of Buckhorn (Big guy who can score & block shots)

Big win for Buckhorn. If they get past PCC in the district they can cause problems for teams in the region.

That is a really big "IF". Will be a hard win for them, because it's on Perry's floor and just because they have PCC on their chest will make a big difference to the kid from B-horn. Makes them tighten just a little.

I didn't think Buckhorn would be as good as they were last season, but they have surprised me this year. They have a great coach and a great post player in Zach Gay and one of the best shooters in the region with Blank.

The long lay off hurt Buckhorn some, but they were able to pull it out at the end. Good win heading into the final weeks of the season. I am looking forward to seeing the TWO county schools go at it in the district.

Gay didn't score alot, but did have 10 blocked shots. Can't remember how many points they said, might have been in single digits. Also, Ryan Howard went 0 for 11 from the 3 point line. Good thing he signed to play football for Pikeville today. Maybe that will take a little of the pressure off and let him relax and just play. This young man has a hard time, I'll just leave it at that.
