Wow! I agree Equalizer, this is way closer than i thought it would be. Its always rough playing in Campton, but a win is a win. 11 points...wow!

Wolfe Co. assuming they beat Riverside could be a tough out in the regional tournament.

How was it this close? Has Wolfe county improved that much since the beginning of the year

Wolfe Co. has improved especially on the defensive end. They played tough zone. Unfortunately, they still have some problems with rebounding, free throws, and taking care of the ball. With better play in these areas the game could have been even closer. D. Evans played a great game. The Wolves were well coached and able to execute their game plan.

PCC played excellent defense and were pretty sharp on the offensive end. Despite Wolves defense they got some good looks at the basket. Didn't always shoot really well but they were able to get many second opportunities.

If those things can get fixed they might cause an upset. :thumb:

A lot closer than expected but you can't rule Wolfe out in any tournament and in any year!

I played at Wolfe several years ago and you can't count out the Wolves no matter what kind of season they have had. A very well coached bunch of young men.
