Jim Schue
North comes up with a big fourth quarter to hold off the visiting Wildcats and snap an 8-game losing streak in the process. Josh Seidel and Nick Shannon each had 24 for North, and Luke Dalton added 13/8, and hit four FTs inside the final 50 seconds to seal the win. Justin Rice had an excellent game for Buckhorn, with 23 points, 12 rebounds and four assists before fouling out. Zach Gay and Andy Blank each had 15. King of The Hardwood
I think i picked this one pretty well, Buckhorn is a very good team but North Laurel plays some tough competition in their region, but hpw well was the game played by the teams. Some other stats … FG% NL 47.2 (25-53) / B 50.9 (28-55) FT% NL 58.6 (17-29) / B 45 (9-20) 3FG% NL 29.4 (5-17) / B 33.3 (5-15) Rebounds NL 30 / B 28 Turnovers NL 8 / B 13 (These numbers are kind of low; my notes reflect each team turning it over a few more times) Key to this game was Buckhorn seemingly getting rattled in the fourth quarter after going into the fourth with a four-point lead and having a seemingly easy time inside. But in the fourth quarter, Buckhorn was 4-10 from the FT line, and they committed six turnovers. Luke Dalton came up big for North in the fourth, scoring 11 and grabbing 5 boards during the frame. My earlier numbers were incorrect; Dalton actually had 15 pts/9 rbs.
Free Bird21
Good to see North snap the streak. I hope they don't give up on the season and make a run in the region.

King of The Hardwood
Poor free throw shooting by both teams, but very good field goal percentages, u would think by the stats that this was a game were both teams were giving it up to their big men. You would be correct, at least from Buckhorn's standpoint. NL also got a big game out of big man Dalton, but their guards had 24 apiece.
