Devilman

Agreed need to find someone to step up in the middle. 3 come to mind 1) Austin Stitt he will be a senior and has told me he's trying to be more serious this year, one could only hope. He's had some good games on the Jv team in past seasons, I think he's better than he showed. 2) John Polisky works hard and determined. 3) Ethan Earlywine, sub off the bench for Grause this past year, plays hard. Who could replace Mitchell? I have 2 in mind, Calvin Schalch, can score and play defense, or Larry Collins another good gutty player. Also Jonathen Caldwell returns a point gaurd.

Jessica Hester and Michelle Smith signed letters to go to Midway. Smith for basketball and Hester for Vollyball. Congrats to both.:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

Deming's Garth Grause is going to Berea to play basketball congrats to you Garth, Represent the 10th region and your school proudly.:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

IMO, I don't think Coach Johnson is ready to leave just yet, stranger things have happened, But let me throw out a couple of other names. How about Aaron Massey or Jason Hinson, both played at Bracken County, it would be ideal for a young coach to comeback and coach at his alma mater. Just thought I throw that out there.:idunno:

Congradultions to Deming's 1 and only swimmer Amanda Miller, she signed to swim for Cumberland College swim team, A Senior at Deming she has the whole school in her corner and the community rooting for her, Congrats goes ou to this young lady.

Former Lady Devil Keshia Woods Sophmore Starting Guard at UC-Clermont, has done exceptionally well at college, both on the court and in the classroom. She's led UC-Clearmont to a undeafted conference season and the Lady Cougars finsihed 3rd after being seeded 8th in a National Tournament. Keisha was also reconized as National Academic All American at a Banquet. Well Done Keisha, your representing Deming and the 10th region very well. Keep up the good work.

If Young didn't transfer he's suspeneded over the incident at Nicholas County with the School Teacher house fire.

:thumb: Same thing I was thinking.

Actually thought would have been a bigger score for Harrison. Deming lost it's 2 best pitchers I thought. I know Darius Workman went back to Nicholas County and think Garrett Young went too.

From Deming: Luke King Kyle King Jonathen Caldwell There's 3 of our starting 5 back.

Mason County will be competive as always, Middleton will be tough to replace, the other guys will have to step and take over.

Deming will have a softball team this year, it's been since the 90's since we had one.

Congrats to both.

I look for the Deming Lady Devils to make arun next season, the Sophomores(juniors next season) won the 10th region tournamnet as freshman a season ago, and with Kelsey Carmack back hopefully at full strength after knee surgery they could make some noise.

I remember the ol' days and the rivalries we had in the old 38th...more so with Deming and Bracken County, they would rank in the 10th region rivalries with Maysville-Mason County, Mason County-Fleming County, classic basketball.

Congrats to Coach Carr and Scott Eagles.

As am I.:thumb:

In the ol' 38th district it was rotated between Pendleton, Bracken, Deming, Augusta.

Lady Devils doing their thing without Carmack. Hope all goes well for them.:dancingpa

Let's see what happens?:thumb:

I'm all for Fleming County coming back to the 10th Region, I remember the classic games both scholls had a gainst each other.

Sounded like a exciting game coming home from Cythiana. Good Luck to Coach Hinson in the Championship game it's big hill to climb to win against Mason County.

When you play hard good things will come.:dancingpa All the rest of the team playing well without Carmack. It'll be a tough came against Harrison.

Who would we play if we should win Friday???-----------St.Pat?

Welcome back Saints.
