gold sunrise Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 What does Deming need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
NKYThreeFer Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Still having the King twins means Deming will be ok. But losing big man Garth Grause in the middle is going to be huge loss for the Devils.
Devilman Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Still having the King twins means Deming will be ok. But losing big man Garth Grause in the middle is going to be huge loss for the Devils. Agreed need to find someone to step up in the middle. 3 come to mind 1) Austin Stitt he will be a senior and has told me he's trying to be more serious this year, one could only hope. He's had some good games on the Jv team in past seasons, I think he's better than he showed. 2) John Polisky works hard and determined. 3) Ethan Earlywine, sub off the bench for Grause this past year, plays hard. Who could replace Mitchell? I have 2 in mind, Calvin Schalch, can score and play defense, or Larry Collins another good gutty player. Also Jonathen Caldwell returns a point gaurd.
Devilman Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 And as mch as I've have said this and wish they get it across their heads they need to play together as a team.
TubbyCAT Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 A team oriented approach would be great for this bunch. I also think they need to run some resemblance of an offense. They look so un-organized at times on the offensive & w/the weapons they have they shouldn't!
RuSerious Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 TubbyCat you did it again, you hit the nail on the head. They need to run some kind of offense. I know he can run the open post but does he undestand why it's called the open post. One more thing, I wouldn't press when you only have three ball players on your team. Come on, I know someone saw the Class A finals.
AirYardGo Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Deming will need a big man next year, but they should still be contenders in the 10th next year.
NKYThreeFer Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Deming will need a big man next year, but they should still be contenders in the 10th next year. As in contenders for a 10th region title?
Devilman Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 As in contenders for a 10th region title? Anyone that plays in the regional are contenders for the 10th region title. It's not about just one team.
bigblueinsanity Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Anyone that plays in the regional are contenders for the 10th region title. It's not about just one team. I can say that Deming won't be a contender next year for the 10th Region Title...Maybe 10th Region All A.
NKYThreeFer Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I can say that Deming won't be a contender next year for the 10th Region Title...Maybe 10th Region All A. That's what I was thinking. I mean no disrespect to Deming, but without a big man to match up with Barner or Setty from Mason County, Rogers or Zollo from Clark County or even Malcom Thomas in their own district, I don't see how they can be considered contenders.
Devilman Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 We'll just wait and see what happens this coming season.
Tiger1 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I can say that Deming won't be a contender next year for the 10th Region Title...Maybe 10th Region All A. I agree. There are quite a few teams that are better than Deming. Such as: Mason Co Clark Co Campbell Co Scott Brossart Harrison Montgomery
