#8 Breds over the Devils.

A little surprised that the bats didn't make more noise for the Breds in this one after scoring 18 against Owen County on Monday.

The caliber of pitching was much better against Owen. There were still some hard balls hit but you could tell the batters just weren't comfortable at the plate against the slower pitching.

I would say the pitching of Deming was better if they held Harrison to 5 runs instead of giving up 18.:thumb:

Actually thought would have been a bigger score for Harrison. Deming lost it's 2 best pitchers I thought. I know Darius Workman went back to Nicholas County and think Garrett Young went too.

Write this one down Milfordflash, I am agreeing with you. Nobody said it was faster pitching, but giving up 18 runs versus 5, I would think the 5 would be better. A close game like that no matter who pitched or why it happened has to be a confidence builder for the Devils.
