I have watched Coach Reitz's since his arrival at the desert. I know he likes this team, and is working to bring it all together. I think they will be ready for Scott. I guess we will know a week from Tuesday night.

Give me the 10th over the 9th any day. Some of the 9th guys act like they have never been to a game.

Even the back roads in those areas saw sunshine before time to leave and make the trip North.

There is not anything wrong with physical games. It favored both teams. I don't understand the chicken part of the T. It was deserved because Johnson was mouthing. That was the turning point. I think PC was taken out of their game tonight. This was not something I had seen this year.

Yes, but most schools even play games on snow days. Those buses don't go out till after school. I agree with you, but I think it is a weak excuse for a weekend game.

Hate to say it but the info TEX put out is correct. Bracken, Williamtown, and Harrison bailed out on the Desert classic. I think it is pretty sorry way to treat a school that has put a program together. St. Pat drove in from Maysville on all of the same road Bracken would travel except for about 3 miles. Sure makes you wonder why they couldn't make it. Same with Harrison, we had people go through Cynthiana to get to State Wrestling. Makes you wonder. Sounds like some people got cold feet.

Great Guy and congrats to Brett. He has been a tremendous player for the team. Really looking forward to the weeks left and seeing his leadership come forward and bring the Camels to the 10th Region Tourney finals.

Got to feel sorry for Hammonds and the Polar Bears. Just think about that losers bracket so far, St Pats or Augusta and Deming or Nicholas. 10th region first round will look like Wednesday afternoon at the state tourney. :laugh:

I think you are right about school choice, but in order for all sports to be in the conference, I think both basketball teams must play. If the conference would allow bball and baseball the flexibility then the problem would be solved.

If Harrison played that well at home, should be an interesting district tourney for the Cats and the Breds. I would say that Harrison might not be an easy draw in the regional tourney.

This is all nice and good, and I love history. The last time I checked the dio is not running the KHSAA.

you are exactly correct about March, lets don't forget how the freshman and JV camels won both games prior to the Varsity. We love our team, and our proud of what is coming. Go Camels!!!

Look for a good game between the two teams. Camels are progressing, but it is a tough place to play. Don't forget that many Harrison County fans considered Falmouth as Cynthiana North when Reitz was their coach.

If high school had an RPI rating, I think CC would be up there with that schedule. Someone said it is the conference, and I think that is correct. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, We will be stronger in March. Go Camels!!!

Of the active coaches in the 10th- I may be a little partial to Coach Reitz, but he and Bart Rison are my two based on experience. Coach Biggs has got to be the best young coach in the 10th, but he has had good troops to go along with his coaching. Next year will be a test. I guess one coach that I am not sure many notice is Hammonds at Bracken. He was a Reitz assistant at Clark, and has done well improving the polar bears. I think he is an up and coming star.
