Good win for the Wildcats. Good luck in the district.

Sounds like the cats are playing some good basketball. I guess I need to get to a game. :walk:

Guess this makes Newport the Campbell County Champs!! Good week for the Wildcats.

Well i can tell you the only game on the schedule left is Tuesday at Newport when they play Beechwood for the 3rd time this year.

I think Newport maybe starting to peck a little bit. They have played well the last few games. I know they are working hard in the games and the play has picked up some. They have some good scorers and now the defense is added. It could be interesting. Good Luck CATS!

Game of two halves.

Campbell dominates in first half - goes to locker room at the half up 11.

Newport dominates the second half - wins the game.

Great spectator event. That one and the PC-Highlands game that followed.

Agree 100%, we are going to have to play better!!

I think that it is time for the players to finish a WHOLE game and develop that killer instinct. They need to finish what they start......very simple. They get the lead and then led their opponents back into the game with turnovers and poor shooting. I still believe but do they??

Wow very suprised in the last two wins. Newport hardly ever beats Brossart and pulled that off earlier this week, and lately the Camels have owned Newport and usually win big at home so Im pretty surprised by this. Sounds like first half was how the game usually goes between these two but Newport must have found some guts an fought back in the second half. Playing good at the right time. Hope they can keep it up.

Nice to see that our Brossart Friends can provide play by play for our team! Bottom line, the Camels are soft and if they do not get any better, hosting the 37th District Tournament will be just that, hosting it. Both the boys and girls programs face Scott and if they do not walk into CCMS with the sense of determination and ready to claim their own court, they will be sitting and watching the March Madness!
