    Both teams played tremendous defense in this game. It was not an ugly sloppy game like the score may indicate. Villa Madonna's 2-3 zone is very good. Coach Shields does a great job! Our full court pressure gave them some trouble resulting in some easy transition baskets. This was a total team effort for Bracken Co. The Lady Bears return to action Saturday night at home vs the St. Patrick Lady Saints!

    You said it! As far as dedication to a team, a sport, you won't find a coach as committed as Coach Persinger. The new coach is walking into a gold mine of talent, but as everyone has said, attitudes can cause a lot of problems. I agree with All Blue 100%, attitudes start at home!

    Very Sspecial day for Lady Bear basketball as Sr. Sara Sticklen signed to play at Asbury. The Lady Bears followed the signing with a good road win over West Jessamine!

    Augusta beat Steve Wrights SL team by 20+ and Augusta is smaller than Williamsburg. Jeff Davis is a great young coach and would be better with supportive parents not unrealistic, nonsupportive ones!
