Final from Mount Sterling. Another tough shooting night for Pendleton, especially Mason Monroe. Pendleton battled back, but dug themselves a 24 point hole in the early second half that was too much to dig out of. Omar Prewitt really struggled for the Indians. He only had around 8 points I believe.

Darius Jones is a player for Montgomery County. Very good athlete. His length gave Monroe problems.

Pendleton's Mason Monroe was 3/15 on FG, 0/1 3pt% & 5/7 FT to go along with 3 rebounds

Montgomery's Omar Prewitt was 4/13 FG, 0/5 3pt% & 0/5 TH to go along with 14 rebounds.

A part of becoming a great team is being able to still win when your leader has an off night. Seems like the Indians are finding more weapons outside of Prewitt and Handshoe.

Looks like all the open gyms and battles PC had this summer according to their faithful has burnt the team out, as the 10th is fast becoming a 2 horse race of Montgomery and Clark, with Mason and Brossart next and PC and Harrison County bringing up the rear.

. Are you serious?

Campbell beat BB tonight so they should be included!

Good call. I look for the regional tourney to be very much unpredictable.

^ That's what I thought you'd say. :D

Pendleton is going to have to solve their offensive woes.

Sounds like an ugly game...5-2 after the 1st quarter. Prewitt & Monroe may have had off nights, but they're both tremendous players that I'm sure will bounce back.

Ha. You don't even mention Campbell who has back to back wins over Mason and Brossart. Or Scott who has wins over Mason, Harrison, and Pendleton. 8 teams are alive.
