The list of specific schools that have contacted Dontaie continues to grow. Among the latest I have seen are West Virginia, Iona, Notre Dame,Depaul, and Pittsburgh. It will probably be awhile before he makes a decision.

I believe it simply means that the school has communicated an interest. I cannot believe they would have extended an offer without seeing him work out. Wisconsin was also on that list according to Jack Pilgram of KSR.

An article in the Falmouth Outlook listed Louisville,Cincinnati, Xavier,WKU,NKU, Texas A&M, and Virginia among the number of 25 that have contacted him.

I understand all of your points. I guess i resent the action of the 37th because i understand the attitude of many from northern KY. Had a credit card in hand ready to pay for a new freezer. They wouldn't deliver because of the distance. Sale over. Coached in the northern Kentucky middle school league. Grew very weary of their complaints about coming to our school to play because of the distance. Same distance both ways.

What's sad about the discussion of the tenth region tourney is that there is no mention of who wins, who may have a chance, who has no chance, who might not be there, who the MVP might be, who gets outcoached, who outcoaches everyone else, and how our winner may fare in the Sweet sixteen. Nope, it's all about what I/we want and what benefits me/us the most.

I would assume you would include Pendleton County among the northern Ky. schools . If so, you may be overlooking a decent team with wins over Scott, Boone Co .,Grant County and Williamstown and close losses to Beechwood, Bellevue, and Lloyd.

So based on your prediction, I'll go with anybody else but the Bears.

After last week's games Arkansas led the SEC in scoring, Florida led in total offense, Arkansas led in total defense, Mississippi State led in passing, and Florida led in running. Those stats probably muddy the waters even further. Other factors are the kicking game and coaching. One might give a reasonable argument on six different teams including Kentucky, Auburn, and Ole Miss.
