Can'tcoach Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 OK, I would assume there is little debate on Georgia and Alabama being at the top two spots in the SEC at the present But who is number three and why?

Jumper_Dad Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I think after Bama and UGA that Ole Miss has the best chance of beating every other team.
theguru Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 The poll I am looking at has: 13. Arkansas 16. Kentucky 17. Ole Miss 18. Auburn 20. Florida

nikeman49 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 OleMiss is a solid third IMO, offense is very difficult to defend for most and their defense is underrated IMO. 1

REALSPORT Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 1) Georgia (my opinion) 2) Alabama 3) Ole Miss (after a HUGE gap) 3
Can'tcoach Posted October 6, 2021 Author Posted October 6, 2021 After last week's games Arkansas led the SEC in scoring, Florida led in total offense, Arkansas led in total defense, Mississippi State led in passing, and Florida led in running. Those stats probably muddy the waters even further. Other factors are the kicking game and coaching. One might give a reasonable argument on six different teams including Kentucky, Auburn, and Ole Miss.
Jumper_Dad Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 If Kentucky could beat LSU and if they could play within 21 points of UGA, I think an argument for them being third could be made. But that's two big IFS.
Raiders8702 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Nearly every power ranking has Kentucky at 3.
