Ashland shouldn't be a pre-season top 10 team. They lost a lot and are probably going to be a very solid team and may crack the top 10 at some point but not coming into the season. Johnson Central is going to be a tough team to but i don't think they are top 10 material either. I think Rockcastle should be very high on everyones list, they return almost their whole line and are very strong at the skill positions. With a terrific coach in Larkey they have a chance this year to go to Louisville.

I like the freed up schedule a lot, and the extra incentive to keep playing hard for teams that haven't had good seasons. Overall I think I will like the new system and it will take some getting used to.

In Indiana everyone makes the playoffs right? Can anyone who has followed Indiana high school football give their perspective of that system?

What happened to the kid who played QB last year? Luke Moore should be a senior this year if i remember correctly?

Congrats to Coach Evans! He is a great person and an excellent coach, love to see him get this oppurtunity but it's too bad Ashland lost him a few years back.

What about that kid from Cov Cath? Casteneda or something like that, I'm pretty sure he was only a JR last year and i was really impressed with him.

As much as I hate to say it, I'll be rooting for Boyd. I think they represent the 16th region very well and will perform well in Sectionals and will move on to state. Good Luck Lions!

I think each team got at least 2 selections, and runner up got 3, Champs get 4.
