Going into the third inning Raceland has a 1-0 lead, Reynolds is on the mound for the Rams.Boyd singled in the bottom of 2nd with 2 out and the runner was thrown out at 2nd. Don't know how many updates I can give, my radio is going in and out on the am station, can't hear very well.

Rams get 5 hits but only one run to show for it getting a runner thrown out at the plate. Rams take a 2-0 lead after 4 1/2 innings. Boyd got 2 runners on but Reynolds did a nice job pitching out of the inning, Miller made a nice catch in center to take away the threat.

Boyd takes a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 5th. Phillips is coming in to relieve Reynolds. I can't really tell what is going on very wel, reception is bad and wat I do get from these announcers they don't know what a baseball is:lol: . Sounds like the rams defense is hurting them. The decision to send the runner home in the 4th may haunt the Rams. If not they would have had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and a 2-0 lead.

I think that is mostly the reception that I am getting, it's on 1080am. Check my comment on the announcers in my previous post. i don't think that they know what is going on:sssh: :lol:

Nope, I have now lost all radio contact/tranmission - am trying to get it back!!!!!

The dang game is probably over by now, I even got in the truck and drove around the block trying to pick up the reception.:lol: I apologize for the updates and lack of info guys. Between the radio station and the announcers it was hard to tell what was going on. I think they were Abbot and Costello and I still don't know who's on first or whats on 2nd!!:laugh: :laugh:

They are a daytime only station.. Those two announcers are probably the worst I have ever heard. They sound like 2 kids who never played the game talking. They call errors and fielders choices as singles, they are very unprofessional. I lost it in the 5th as well with the score 3-2.

I know what you mean I was going to say that about the calls on fc's as base hits and the like in one of my post. Heck, the score may not have been 3-2 for all we could tell about those guys call! Maybe someone who has a final on this and what actually happened can post and fill us in.
