Boyd Co vs Sheldon Clark

Lets go Boyd!

Boyd County is a solid team, both offensively and defensively. Excellent pitching that can overpower most teams, with velocity and control. Very good fundamentally.

 

Sheldon Clark has a veteran team, that are patient and hit the ball extremely well, especially in the clutch. Pitching is also good and relies on hitting spots, more than velocity.

 

Good match up and the team that takes advantages of runners in scoring position and limits the mistakes, will take the series.

I'm pulling for Boyd in 2

I'll take Boyd County in 2 but will be rooting for Sheldon Clark. Boyd County has had good success against the 15th region champs in the past and as usual they will be very tough to beat.

As much as I hate to say it, I'll be rooting for Boyd. I think they represent the 16th region very well and will perform well in Sectionals and will move on to state.

I hope Boyd County brings there A games when they come in to this Sectional becouse people have been writing off Scheldon Clark all post season and this team has a lot of heart and refuses the lose, so you have to come to beat them and beater not expect for them to let you win.

They hit the ball very well and there pitching not to bad.

For once, I agree!

I think Boyd will take this series, but don't write off Sheldon Clark thinking that Boyd will just come in and dominate. SC has some nice players and will play tough baseball. When it is all said and done however, I don't think they have the pitching (not to say they have bad pitching -- but just that Boyd is a little better in that area and will make a big difference) to take the series. I believe Boyd will win it in 2 games, but it wouldn't surprise me to see SC take one and maybe even push for a chance to win it.
