I think Greenup/Raceland game is probably going to be the opening round game in the region today. I'm picking GC. 6-3 Russell 8 Lewis 1 GC in the finals over Russell 5-0.

I never said he didn't take good shots, some deep threes just didn't fall. I would have let Jackson keep slashing and penetrating. Boyd couldn't guard him. No kick on Euton, he plays very hard and very well, skies the limit, and he'll be an even bigger force in the region the next few years than he was already was. :thumb: He has a great attitude on the court that you can't help but like.

Radio said something like 16 points , 14 rebounds. Selby played huge again tonight. I don't think he came out of the game at all tonight,, I may be wrong though.

100% agreed. Zach was the difference in the game tongiht IMO. I lost count of how many deflections,rebounds and key baskets he had tonight. 10 points ,, 8 in the 3rd quarter. Nice team win for the Lions!

No doubt. He shot them out of the game. BC had no answer for Jackson. I would have kept feeding him the ball. Euton looked great in the 1st half though, he's only going to get better as the years come. Rose Hill has a bright future.

Boyd had 1,000 turnovers. That's the one that stuck out for me.

I would love to agree, but Greenup is the better team of the two. Greenup has 5 great ballhandlers on the floor at all times and plays more aggressive defense than Boyd IMO.

Chris Early came in and scored 14 or 16 points all in the 2nd half for Huntington High. Not sure who's looking at him, but he can play. I agree with Mayo not playing hard, 2nd half he did look a lot better on defense IMO. A nice quality win for the Highlanders.

Boyd didn't win any awards with their freethrow shooting tonight either. Selbey hits 2 big ones at the end though. Casey Branham hit 3 of the biggest clutch 3's in a row I've seen in sometime. Vanhoose and Robinson were lights out behind the arc. Wow! Fun game!

Ashland showed me a lot these last 3 days. Shooting very well,, Mcdavid had an awesome game against big time competition tonight. He was a warrior.

I think Martin is Rowans best player. He has deceptive speed, penetrates, and has a nice jumper. He also has a nice fastball,, but thats another thread I guess.
