Gareth Asher's new album, set for release on April 30. My fiance and I met up with him at his concert in Johnson City last weekend, and he said that he had just gotten his shipment in that very day and had them available at his show if we wanted to buy them... Said it we actually were the very first buyers of that particular album that he'd had (and he signed it as such). Not quite as good as his other two releases (IMO), but still a very solid album that I suggest everyone give a listen to... He's one of the better singers you've never heard of. :lol: I anticipate that Band of Horses new release will be worked in as well, when it comes out in May.

Wooooooo!! Congrats to Shelby Valley! I graduated from East Ridge and hated you once upon a time, but you've represented the mountains well, and we couldn't be more proud of you!

I was at El Poncho in Pikeville getting dinner, and more people were coming in wanting to watch the Shelby Valley game than the UK game... Definite surprise there.

Come on boys, just a few more minutes!

Any updates? I can't seem to get the radio station to come in and can't find it on TV.

Shane Grimm wins MVP... Shot 28/33 (85%) for the tournament... Landon Slone averaged 15/11 for the tournament... Hard fought game, but Paintsville was clearly the better team.

Paintsville might be a little tired out after their thriller tonight... That's the only chance I see for Johnson Central...

Official attendance was a little over 5,500... Highest attendance for a 15th region game ever... Valley definitely made a mistake by not attacking in OT... They played right into Paintsville's trap and just made bad moves when they did decide to go for the basket... The boys played their hearts out, though, and they deserved this win just as much as Paintsville. There was one point late in the 4th, or maybe the first OT.. When #10 for SV could've drove and made Landon Slone pick up his 5th, but he backed out and waited for his team to set it up.. A different decision there could've made a different outcome.

Definitely... Ashley Hatfield spent the greater part of the game on the bench with foul problems as well... Not the way he deserved to go out.

I was there doing the stats for this game... This one had it all... The big comeback.. The great finish at the end of regulation... Players putting it all on the line. Absolutely awesome game!!! Grim had 29 for Paintsville.. Landon Slone had 15/18/4 blocks... Not sure about names for Shelby Valley, but #3 (Justice, I think?) carried them down the stretch. Shelby Valley's fans had some classless chants -- No place for that stuff.

I'd love to have an East Ridge helmet but I can't find a picture online. If anyone could help with that, I'd greatly appreciate it.

East Ridge down by 6 with under a minute left... Joel Meade drains a big 3 and then Mike Rowe hits the game winner... That's what I'm talkin about guys! :dancingpa
