Thats false Ashland played Cov Cath very close..lost by 5 or so. They also played Madison Central, I know there not Top 10, and lost by 3.

They split with each team winning on there own home floor... I'll take Ashland by 8, with the supporting cast winning another game for the Tomcats!!!

You obviously don't know OJ becuase he is a very unselfish player and person! When have you ever heard him say anything selfish in an interview or anything? He gets a bad rep becuase of the people who clamped on to him, but he's a great kid!! How can you be selfish and avg 8 assist a game? and he was late because he was getting extra treatment on his pulled hamstring so again how is that selfish?

It is a very tough place to play!! and they are a very tough team that will try to out muscle you and intimadate you if you let them...they are a good team as well!

Just because Lewis Co. played one game against a good team means nothing; all I am saying is that Ashlands schedule is just as tough if not tougher than anyone in the region's! I never said that they won any of those games did I? Noone in this Region has beat a Top 15 team PERIOD!!!

Ashland's Schedule is just as strong if not stronger than Russell's and Rose Hill's. Madison Central Top 15 team, Louisville Iraqouis(sp.) a beat a PRP team who should be a Top 20 team,who just beat South Laurel, not to mention played Mason Co.,Boyd twice and a good Ironton team. Name Russell's and Rose Hill's Schedule's and show me how they are stronger?

I agree bobbyearl. Ashland will be fine. I just wanted to thank JC for their fine hospitality while we were in Paintsville. You guys put on a nice tournament.

The Cats played really well in the second half. They were down by about 10 at the half and came out fired up in the 2nd. Ryan Bonner had his coming out party with 21pts and 11 boards. Matt Thomas had 16pts(I think) and 11 assits. McDavid had 21 pts and I think Wilcox had may be 14 pts. These point totals may not be right, but they are colse. I was hoping the paper would have at least had a box score .

Good job Devils. Does anyone have any stats on the game, since the paper gave no coverage of any games from last night.

Royalblue I think that you are way off base on this. Ashland finished 2nd in a tournament last night and there was no coverage on them at all. As a matter of FACT they go no press for the whole tournament. If it has a maroon tint, it's not Ashland maroon..
