Good game for the Tomcats. They shot the lights out from behind the arc. Not sure of the stats but they made way over 50%.

 

Boyd played hard and came up short. Should be a fun postseason.

I believe they shot 6-14 from the three point line, which is still pretty darn good even if it's not over 50%. One small comment, and then I'm done. You would think that after doing something for so many years that you would have to get better, but I know of at least 3 examples where the opposite is true. :sssh:

If the Lions or Tomcats dont win the 64th someones head should roll. No way Fairview or Rose Hill can compete with the big boys.

I listened to 90 percent of this game. Seemed to me like Ashland didnt make that many 3's, they just made HUGE shots. Everytime Boyd got within 1 or 2, someone from Ashland drilled one. The name Rose comes to mind for some reason, seems like he may have had some big shots. Turnovers killed the lions this game, they are going to have to take better care of the ball if they expect to do much come tourney time. This really seemed a lot like the first game these two played but Ashland shot the ball better and Boyd shot the ball worse. Nice win for the Tcats, nice effort from Boyd.

Rose did hit a couple of 3's in the 1st half, but Danny Coleman was the one who stepped up and hit the huge 3's on two occasions when Boyd Co. had cut the lead to two.
