What makes you so sure they will be disciplined this year?

Jessamine County seems to just do things backwards. Both head football coaches have left in the last two years. What a place!

They may improve, but the playoffs might be difficult to reach. I agree with Slink. Maybe a 4th place finish in District.

Good luck to Coach Chappell. He is a great guy. He is very energetic, enthusiastic and really seems to enjoy working with young people. I wish him and his staff the best!

I remember other teams getting blasted this past season for not scheduling up. It is nice to see someone has finally called these two programs out for playing Bourbon!!!

Lex Cath shut Highlands out in the playoffs when was the last time the cannon did not go boom in the playoffs?

The whole staff has done a great job at Dunbar this year. They had a great year in Varisty as well. Good job by the players and coaches.

I can't wait for the St. X and Lakeland game next year.

I think this is going to be another game that comes down to the wire. The dogs have proved they can play, and that they never quit! I am pulling for the dogs in this one!

Maybe Coach Hensley and his staff will finally start to get at least some credit for the job they are doing at Dunbar this year. They have beat some good football teams this year including Scott Co twice! I bet next weeks game is going to be a great game to watch!!!!

What gets me is that you would make a statement like that. Maybe the confidence from the first game against Lone Oak is what helped this team achieve an 8-2 record. Is it considered breaking the contract to buy it out? I thought that is why the buy out clause was put in. You obviously do not know David Hensley, if you did you would not make such a classless, uninformed statement about him. He is a classy guy and great head coach.

I finally just saw some footage of the catch and he was easily in bounds. I wish people would not try to take a victory from one set of kids because they are upset their team lost. It was easy to see that Mike Sweat made a great catch of a great pass. Good job Dunbar. Good luck against Scott!

Staying on top when you are expected to is not always the easiest thing in the world to do. He does have a lot of great kids, but give the guy at least some credit. I agree with the nomination of David Hensley. He is in his 4th season as a head coach and his first at Dunbar. He turned things around at East Jessamine in his first year there as they were 4-6 the year before. He had done the same at Dunbar. He is a great guy and a great football coach.

I keep seeing highlands fans say things like "it is so sad for the kids." Would the bluebird faithful be saying the same thing if Boyle had played their best player illeagally all year. Lets say that the QB from boyle co was in this same situation. Would the birds still be saying "it is so sad for the kids?"
