How many play on the line ? Also what kind of size and speed do they have ? I know they have a good QB , RB , and WR's . But it starts up front on both sides of the ball ! That will make or break your TEAM !

Joe F. will try to run over you, but doesn't have the speed to pull away . Both are good players , but I think a mix of both would be nice for the O ! If you run a spread O , Spence might be the better choice , like Molony or Brock with Dixie . Joe will get his yards , but can he break the game open?

So who started at QB for SK ? Bustle or Gibson ?

The 2 or 3 Soph's I liked played OL and DL !:thumb: #75 and I think # 74 played well . #74 had a very nice HIT !:thumb: I think # 61 played very strong also ! There's no reason at all DIXIE'S line should get pushed around at all this year ! With the SR leadership and Very Hungry Soph's , they should be fine . :fire:

It's early SM , but I was surprised with Conner ! I liked there QB and they had 2 nice RB's that could move . Both had some nice run's ! Dixie did come out alittle flat today to start , but picked it up . What I saw from the O and D line I liked alot ! They had a nice rotation of players going in and out ! The D had some breakdowns , but I seen some ears getting bent ! I still think there trying alot of players in spots ! Will see next week at the SUPERBOWL !!!:thumb:

No , Conner played NKYFL Raider football and the past 2yrs for Dixie . There is going to be a Fresh at CCH that also played Raider Ball . His dad is also coaching the Fresh DB's for CCH .

Dixie should be strong this year with Dettmer leading the way . They also have Braun , Johnson ,and B. Preston all Sr's ! I know there's one or two more I can't think of . They also have a few JR's and Soph's that should see some time too.

Your right on total TEAM Defense . If one part of the D breaks down or is pushed around , its very hard to get 3 and outs . It's like in a game with very little time left , you know there going to pass the ball and to who . But you can't stop them . As far as 3 and outs for Dixie , they had alot .( But I wish we would have had more early on ! ) The past couple of yrs we started slow , but this yr ( Hopefully ) I think things changed on how the coaches are doing things ! Football is about TEAM on O and D , but you know how people like to blow up numbers on the O side of the ball ! Forest G. has 45 TD's and a million yds this year ! But not once does it say , Koop leads the area in pancake blocks ! Thats some stat's I'd love to see printed for them Big Boy's up front ! Yes it's all about TEAM and just for fun this year, I'm going to keep that stat " 3 and outs for Dixie ":D I'll let ya know at the end of the year how many !!!:thumb:

The paper had FSN with highschool football games this year . I know the Dixie - Boone Co. is one . Is there any other NKY schools on and when ? Also is Remke's doing games on INC6 like last year ? And does anyone know the CPC games this year ?

Your right on Brueggeman , He's the better LB over Stine , Ball and Hurtt . He reminds me alot of Flynn and Geisen . Always in the right spot to make the play . I don't see him having any problem this year either ! As far as Dixies LB's ,both I believe had double digit tackles against Highlands in those games .( Not to bad against that O ) I think the game had more to do with your Mammoth O-LINE then our LB's not showing much . It all starts up front on both sides of the ball ! Going from last year stats , the TOP returning LB's are Dixie - Benson ( 104 ) CCH - Brueggeman ( 98 ) CC - Sauerbeck ( 66 ) !

That was a great turn around for that team . That just proves my point on how Freshman and JV outcomes , don't always work-out that way at the Varsity level ! And yes Highlands has BEAT Dixie the past 2yrs most convincingly at the Varsity level ! Your point is well taken , Things do change if you work hard , don't you think ?

I couldn't find anything on Highlands last yrs "D" stats . And Sauerbeck had 66 last yr and 48 the year before .Woodruff ??? Does anyone have Highlands tackle stats from last year ? Brueggeman had 98 from Cov Cath last yr ! I think the other county has the better LB's !

Dixie beat Cov Cath and HHS 2yrs ago JV . Then most of them started playing Varsity from then on . You can't always look back to last years JV for a true ranking . Players move around alot in 4yrs of highschool football !

Is that the year they lost to Scott in Freshman ball ?:scared:

Biggest OL coming back in NKY ? How big are they ? I think Dixie's is smallish . No size at all or speed . I wish we had some size that B-Wood has or even the Birds !
