They should be. By all accounts Josh seems to be great guy and leader of young men. Sometimes wins/loses aren't always the most important thing, especially in high school sports.

Logistically Ohio Co makes more sense but either would work.

I see Ohio Co is moving up but I don't understand putting them in D1 making 5 teams in that district while there are only 3 teams in D2.

I think Henderson is thinner this year then last. Their skill guys are better, obviously because they're older, but just playing way too many guys both ways.

If I recall correctly that was the first year of the merger of Henderson City High and Henderson County High in the current Henderson County High School. Seems like Henderson had the lead late but gave it up on a Trinity fake punt? I was only 1 then so my memory is a little foggy.

I remember someone posting this stat once when Henderson was going to play another Louisville school a few years ago. Trinity HS and Henderson HS are 135miles apart. When Trinity makes the trip they will only drive in KY for 15 miles of the 135. The rest is driven in Indiana. Hopefully they get lost.

The overall team talent of the schools like Manual, Male, T, and X are what sets them apart. I've said multiple times on here, it's not the number of boys at those schools that gives them the advantage. It's the total talent pool those boys come from. Henderson has roughly 1000 boys from a pool of 1000 boys. Manual has roughly 800 boys from a pool of something like 8,000 +/-. I think McCracken could have the best 1 or 2 athletes on the field. However Manual's 1-11 are on average better on both sides of the ball. It's hard to explain or prepare for until you see it for the first time. We could be way off and McCracken could win and I hope they do. But I will be surprised if it happens.

I hope your right. I have to think a 5 hour bus ride won't help Manual's chances.

If Manual doesn't let the trip affect them, I expect them to handle business and get the win fairly easily. I'm guessing 2 TD's but wouldn't be surprised if it's closer to 4.
