Really the only two calls I thought were suspect were Tackos 5th foul and I believe the play before on the other end...Zion reached over the UCF players shoulder to try and block him and should have been a foul but wasn’t called. That said that crap happens every game. Really the Tacko 5th foul was the only one that bothered me just because I hate seeing players fouled out on bad calls. I thought tacko went straight up and should have been a play on. Was as a fun game to watch. UCF has their chances and blew it.

Played my first rounds of the year Friday and Saturday. Shot 84 on Friday and 88 on Saturday (two different courses). Coarse was packed on Saturday and we had to wait just about every shot. Made it tough to get in a rhythm.

So I took off work early on Friday and played golf instead of doing this demon of a workout. It doesn't take much to talk me out of doing thrusters.

If they can't beat Wofford without PJ they weren't a serious contender anyway. That said I hope PJ can be play next weekend if he is out tomorrow.

Our work out last night had a ton of 35# DB thrusters. Those aren't terrible but 50#er's are brutal.

I would say it's almost certain to have thrusters but beyond that. The other movements we haven't seen are OHS, deadlifts, pull ups. I can't see anything with thrusters that would also include OHS and/or deadlifts but obviously could with pull ups. Definitely could be a harder version of Fran. Maybe heavier with C2B pull ups.

@Oldbird , how is your open going? I had to scale the 2nd and 3rd workouts but the 4th will go down as one of my favorites. If i had signed up it would have been one i would have definitely redone. I paced the first part too much and just didn't leave myself enough time.

Because a few teams got hot and won a few games from the play in spot does not mean anyone should put forth energy debating who got left out and who shouldn't have made it in. This tournament should ultimately be about crowning the NC. What money the 68th team makes shouldn't be a concern.

Great, that doesn't change the fact they are a mid major. When was the last time a mid major won the title? And I'm not saying they can't do it. I'm saying if you are looking at this from a statistical probability stand point you have to eliminate them.

I think we can all just agree that while Houston fits the criteria for the thread they have little shot to win. As good as Gonzaga has been this year you can all but eliminate them as well, based on the fact that mid majors just don't win it.
