Reitz is really good, as usual.

The team was divided as far as feelings on Isenberg. There are a lot of players, past and present, that do not like him. I'm sure that can be said of just about every coach in every sport. For me, my biggest and really only issue with him was pressuring the kids to not play other sports if they wanted to play baseball. It's inexcusable and because of that alone I'm glad he's gone. If the next does the same I hope they send him packing as well. If any of the other coaches does the same they should be shown the door. It should not be tolerated.

For the record the kid in question was one of the best on the team

I've heard he's lost at least one offer because of it. That came from a kid I know that was on the team in 2016.

That part about Isenberg is 100% true. The stuff about the phone call and picture, I didn't see or hear any of it first hand so going by what I've been told.

Isenberg does not want his players playing other sports and goes as far as to tell them they can't if they want to be on the baseball team. At least one kid went out of the golf team and posted something about it on social media. He did so knowing Isenberg would call him about it and he recorded the call. I doubt the kid really wanted to play on the golf team, it just happened to be the sport in season at the time. No doubt the kid set him up but so what. Isenberg is a jerk for the way he treats players wanting to play other sports. I personally have not heard the call but was told by those that have that Isenberg screwed up big time with the way he talked to the kid. Knowing what I do about Isenberg it does not surprise me.

It's not illegal if you are involved in the conversation. You can't record 2 other people but if you and I are talking you can record it.

A few hundred in a community of over 40,000. For every 1 person you find wanting him back I can guarantee you there are 4 glad to see him gone. There was no mistake made. Maybe he was setup but doesn't change the fact he did what he is accused of.

Henderson is better off in the long run.

I just upgraded ours earlier this year. Went with Netgear, new modem and a new router. Great range and able to handle whatever load we've put on it so far. They were each about $100.

Try again. I wasn't spinning anything and I wasn't trying to make you look foolish. You said dismissing this as mental illness is naive, I was trying to find out what other reasons for dismissing the "phenomena" qualified as naive.

Paying attention to what? The zero evidence to support what your stating as fact in this thread? There is zero evidence that 1. any other life even exists and 2. if it does it is any more or any less advanced as us. We can all speculate and like I said I believe there is life out there somewhere. But to use the word absolute either way in this argument is way off.

A few years a kid started coming to our CrossFit gym. He was a senior in high school and was getting ready to graduate. He played QB for Evansville Central High School and was going to Depauw to play. I was paired with him doing power cleans. He was strong but form was brutal. He told the trainer his coach didn't care how they got it up as long as they made the lift. Blew me away.

I guess the question should be "is your schools strength and conditioning program what it should be?"

IMO, most school's training programs are not getting the most out of their athletes. Mainly because they are typically run by the head coach who most of the time doesn't know what they are doing. Just because you are a great football coach doesn't mean you are a great strength and conditioning coach. Will the kids get stronger and faster, most likely. Will the results be optimal, probably not. This gets worse in other sports like baseball, basketball, ect...

No, by alternating ends I always get the center eggs last. I typically eat 4 at a time. So I will take 2 from each end.

B however I don't arrange them that way. When I take eggs from the carton, I alternate ends until they are all gone.

To me this is no different than a team being down 7, scoring a touchdown with 0 time left and the officials only giving them 4 points for the touchdown costing them the game.
