Could be coaching or just overall attitude/perception of the program. Possibly terrible feeder programs. I'm sure there are plenty of schools in the state that face similar issues as I listed but have had success.

I hope you're right, however the way it looks like McCracken has improved I like my Colonels chances less and less.

In regards to the 2 schools you referenced, my best guess is talent or lack there of. Most of the athletes in Hopkins Co go to Madisonville. Muhlenberg Co just doesn't have much in the way of talent or at least they do a really bad job of getting it on the field. Demographics plays against Muhlenberg as well. The population is less then 5% black and with a total population of around 30,000 you do the math. The same reason Webster County is and has pretty always been putrid.

What case closed? You stated T has been at the top since week 1 and that was incorrect. I simply point that out. No case to be closed. What you stated was factually incorrect, what I stated was FACT.

T hasn't been at the top since week 1. The first ranking didn't come out until the 2nd or 3rd week of the season and BG was #1.

Why would you go to Paducah when the game will be in Henderson?

Flip Scott and T and it's really not that far off.

They've only been playing 6A football for a few years. They consolidated high schools a few years ago, this years 4 winsis probably more then they've won since the consolidation.

A few points. 1. Henderson is #10 last week, has a bye and this week they are unranked? Must have played really bad against the Bye. How do you punish a team when they don't even play? It would be different if everyone above them had impressive performances and made a strong case for being where they are but Butler? 2. Can someone justify Butler being in the top ten? They've last to the only 2 good teams they've played and have beaten no one. 3. McCracken Co may very well be a top 10 team and might very well pound Henderson, but to this point, based on games played, how do you jump them over Henderson?

Pretty much nailed it. Without the two playing we can only state opinion based on each body of work. IMO, BG overall a little better but think if they played 10 times it could very well end up 5-5. For anyone to say one team is head and shoulders better is reaching.

I keep hearing all BG has to do is schedule T. Can one of the T fans please tell me how that will happen this year? Because that is what we are talking about, this year. Not next or the next one last year or the year before. THIS YEAR! And this year BG appears to at least be on T's level if not better.

Why? What does that change? So if BG plays the same schedule and has the same record as T then what?

Why is it Bowling Green's job not to score? They didn't have Fant running end around double reverse WR screen pass to the TE who tosses back to Pillow for a 88 yard TD in the 4th quarter. The first half is fair game, anything goes. Wallace pulled the starters and his 2nd and 3rd team still scored. Anyone who gets mad that a Freshman back up to the backups throws a TD pass in the 4th quarter is wound too tight. LC's coach had no issue with what happened so why should we?

Kind of the issue with Sk and Scott both. It's hard to gauge just how good they are because their schedules have been pretty weak.

So basically you have nothing to back up your position. Look McCracken may lay the wood to Henderson, PT also, but everything I've seen to this point tells me McCracken and Henderson should pretty even. As far as Christian goes, Henderson was man handling them on defense and basically gave up two big plays late in the first to keep it a game. The offense was still trying to find itself and hopefully after the Madisonville game they are there but who knows. After years of running the veer, they are struggling adjusting to the spread.

Curious why you are ok with McCracken but not Henderson? That loss to PT is not a good one. PT just isn't very good.

How many schools does a county have to have to be in the discussion? As far as multi school counties I would put Warren county up against Kenton just about any year.

I've been really impressed with what I've seen from Soph Damion Carter the last two games. The future definitely looks bright at RB for Henderson. For anyone that remembers back in the early 90's, Daymon Carter that played for Henderson. He went on to play for city college of San Fran and then UK. Didn't do much at UK, had some injury issues. I believe that Damion is Daymon's nephew.

PP92, what kind of recruiting attention is Fant getting?

Don't that have one more game against another tough team from TN?
