Scott County has played 5 opponents, with a combined record of 5-20. Non-district opponents still remaining 1-4 GRC and 0-4 Seneca.

Ouch. Hadn't paid enough attention to their schedule, i guess. However, I think they are rated correctly. My only change is to move SK up one and drop Male back one. St. X needs a good showing against Central.

I agree. Wonder if they were known by another name (perhaps the Lone Oak Purple Flashes) if they would be getting more respect.

I can totally bite on McCracken. Probably not as much on Henderson. With all of these arguments, I probably tend to paint with too wide a brush based on too little info, but that close game with Christian County might be telling.

We have Hendo and McCracken at 11 and 12 so I think we are all in the ballpark together.

SK is fine where they are. They will be number 1 in a couple months!

St. X may be over rated! Not that they do not have the potential and tallent to be no. 1 at end of season, just not showing all the cards at this time. As an objective fan, (really), they have not impressed me this year, so far. Yes the run game has shown flashes of big time yards, however, the play calling limits the total execution. We will have to wait and see on this one...... and time is running out... Can't expect to make quantum leaps the last two weeks of the regular season.....

Curious why you are ok with McCracken but not Henderson? That loss to PT is not a good one. PT just isn't very good.

On Henderson, the game that hurts them a little in the rankings is the Cov Cath loss. Yes, CCH is a highly ranked team but they handled Henderson pretty easily at Henderson following a long bus ride and in spite of a number of key players missing due to injuries. Contrast that with Dixie Heights playing a healthier CCH down to the wire and losing because they failed to score from a first and goal situation in the last minute. If you want to put Henderson in the top 10, you have to take someone other than Dixie out IMO. So who you taking out ... Henry Clay, Ballard?

Agree completely! Dixie's only loss comes from a state contender who they played to the wire.
