@kwallacebg: MaxPreps has BGHS ranked #79 nationally and #1 in KY Bowling Green High School (KY) Football Rankings - MaxPreps.com

Let me sip a little of that purple kool aid...

Tweeting about "national" rankings is not something Trinity staffers participate in.:sssh:

And for the record, I'm not going to act like I know what BG's goals are. I don't know if they aspire to be the overall best team in the state. I'm not a fan of national rankings because their accuracy leaves a lot to be desired. That being said, I do love the recognition that national rankings provide and I also love the fact that Coach Wallace isn't ignoring anything being said about BG. Regardless of how accurate the rankings are this is good for the program.

*golf clap*

Coach Wallace has been tweeting rankings every since he started tweeting. He's proud of his program and I see nothing wrong with it. The Purples are head and shoulders the best team in KY this year, so why not publicize your program and school?!?

Good luck to the Purples the rest of the way!!

They're also ranked 97 on rivals. :thumb:

Yep. IMO Trinity is the best team in the state, with BG a very close second. While BG may very well be better than T this year, I don't think BG is "head and shoulders" better. Just like I don't think T is head and shoulders better than BG.

Pretty much nailed it. Without the two playing we can only state opinion based on each body of work. IMO, BG overall a little better but think if they played 10 times it could very well end up 5-5. For anyone to say one team is head and shoulders better is reaching.

Even if they did, do they have anything to tweet about this year?
