AP 6A Rankings for 10/7

Featured Replies

I sure would enjoy this more if the ballots were not secret. I suppose Trinity will have to lay the smack down on some upcoming opponents. Simon Kenton receiving one first place vote is hysterical.

Class 6-A

1. Scott Co. (8) …6-0 166 1

2. Trinity (9) …3-3 161 2

3. Male …6-0 131 3

4. St. Xavier …4-3 119 4

5. S. Kenton (1) …7-0 114 5

6. Manual …6-0 81 6

7. Henry Clay …6-0 78 7

8. Cent. Hardin …6-0 52 8

9. Henderson Co. …5-1 30 9

10. Dixie Heights …5-1 24 NR

I thought you'd be more excited about SC getting your spot than 1 little first place vote for SK.

Just on the basis of similar opponents Dixie Heights should be above Henry Clay. Both teams have played Boone Co. And Tates Creek. HC pts for are 42 and pts against are 19. Dixie with the same opponents, 82-13. I would switch these two.

I so love the AP around here.

The guy who gave his first place vote to the 'Neers probably left Trinity off his ballot.

Flip Scott and T and it's really not that far off.

Can't wait to watch SK beat Trinity real soon!

SK's record would be unblemished if they played T's schedule. Only problem is the unblemished would be reversed or 0-6. Kinda like the scoreboard every time SK has played T- unblemished a.k.a nothing but goose eggs.

Keep feeding the Pioneers motivation!

Totally agree. Flip schedules and not only do you have your #1 and #2 correct but also the records.

And yes, I believe SC would have the exact same record. They are a very good team that is flying under the radar this yr:thumb:

SK is a very good team this year but not in T's league. There is no shame in that.

Your right SK is in a better league!

And you said SK would be 3-7 a couple months ago?

Scott County has played one of the weakest schedules in all of 6A. If they lay an egg somewhere along the line, I won't be surprised. People hammer Simon Kenton's schedule ... Scott County's is worse. The second best team Scott Co. has played all season is Ryle. The total record of their opponents this season is 8-34. Four opponents have won 1 or none. None of their opponents has a winning record. Their last remaining non district opponent is currently winless.

Can't wait to watch SK beat Trinity real soon!

So when you go to bed tonight then.
