BTW, I don't think the Manual stats include the PRP game. I know it says thru the 9th, but it also only lists 10 games.

I believe the individual play of Newman made the big difference between the two results. A few that don't really follow recruiting wanted to know what the big deal about him was following the first game. No one asked that last night, he was a beast.

There's absolutely no risk that Manual will be anything other than 110% focused on X. Trust me.

It reminded me a lot of the the X-John Hardin game a few years ago, actually. PRP didn't pass it deep as well as JH did in that game, but they ran the ball very well and kept coming up with first downs until late.

He was thinking of two years ago before the playoff change.

Two votes against the Rams, two X fans. Just sayin'. The 'better coaced PRP upset of Manual' has been a trendy pick since Wolfe's arrival, but it keeps not happening. In Wolfe's tenure Manual has outscored PRP 32-16 on average. Wolfe's a good coach, he has some good players, but I'm going with Manual here.

St. X is number 1, no doubt.

Where is the 'eh, whatever' option? Not much of change for the top few teams, who were always playing for playoff positioning anyway.

For the record, whatever the final attendance was, Manual dominated in that catergory too. I was kinda disappointed with the Bulldog turnout, I have no idea why they didn't show up. Tons of Manual fans, the excitement that has built for this program in the past 10 years is great to see.

Physically, Manual dominated most of the game down low, and burned them deep. There was a dropped, wide-open TD pass and a muffed punt, or the margin would have been even greater. After some early nerves, Manual looked like the real deal last night.
