With the announcement of the SI giving Trinity the award for best overall sports trophy, I did some research on the 6 big schools in Jefferson county and their results in the just completed year. In the 10 sports under the KHSAA domain, these schools won 5 out of the 10 sports with 4 second place finishes. Kudos to the Shamrocks who finished in the top ten in 8 out of the ten sports. Just some info on how I got these numbers, lower is better. I took the round that the team got knocked out with a maximum of 128 for getting knocked out in the district. I can't find anything on Male's wrestling team so I took all of the schools in the wrestling finals and put them at the bottom. I couldn't find anything on the regional results for tennis so the non-state qualifiers got a 64.

Let me know your comments.

That's a lot of work. Thanks for the effort. A couple of minor points. First, Trinity lost in the regional, not district in basketball. Also, Trinity finished in the final 16 in baseball. All in all, a great year for the Rocks.
