  1. Louisville is just that deep at WR. Which is incidentally why they can name the score tomorrow, as Kentucky's secondary is their weakest unit.
  2. The Vegas info, as is the case with most of his content, was not original.
  3. I believe 93% of those wagers are on the Cards. It's not every day you see a line double in a week.
  4. I figured I'd add a little variety to the poll options, just to keep things interesting.
  5. Besides, I think this is Bobby's job to turn down.
  6. You come off as strangely invested in Charlie Strong leaving Louisville.
  7. My personal opinion--I'm not sure if I've expressed this yet on BGP or not, so sorry if this is rehashing an earlier post--is that Louisville needs to be the only major undefeated team out there to have a shot at the title game. The computer rankings are going to be such a drag that Louisville needs to occupy the top spot in the human polls to even cling to a title game berth. A likelier scenario is that Louisville is left and out and makes a case for a split title if a one- or two-loss team wins the title game.
  8. When a team gets whipped up front, they routinely get described as manhandled.
  9. It's not like it hasn't been pointed out in this thread. If someone thinks criticism of Stoops is out of control in this thread, they'll love this post: I thought Ohio looked better getting torched by Louisville than Kentucky did against Western. Ohio looked overmatched, but Kentucky looked overwhelmed. There's a difference. I had difficulty discerning what UK was trying to accomplish at times, on both sides of the ball. On defense, they looked not just timid but actually afraid of WKU's playmakers, and they struggled to adjust to the conditions in the game. Bottom line, they looked poorly coached to me. To be cliche, Stoops has proven he can recruit the Jimmies and Joes, but after one game I don't see any proof that what he did at FSU had anything to do with his X's and O's.
  10. They lost by 9 despite 10 points off of turnovers.
  11. Well, I think they are. And just looking at head-to-head, and not the overall national profile of the programs and where they finish in NCAA competition doesn't make much sense. I mean, in 1997 Louisville team beat Kentucky in basketball; is that the end of the story as far as that year goes? It may not seem fair when you consider the head to head, but Louisville baseball has a better profile than Kentucky baseball thanks to those two trips to Omaha. Kentucky beat Louisville in women's basketball last year, but Louisville beat three elite teams in the tournament on the way to title game appearance.
  12. Are we comparing participation ribbons and trophies? And "lately" in this case encompasses major bowl wins in three different decades.
  13. Quick is second on the depth chart at Z receiver behind Honey Mustard. Also, I think it's Parker who is going to look like a man amongst boys.
  14. And since the rest of you broke the seal on the topic of Louisville, if UK's defense doesn't experience a metamorphosis, Teddy Bridgewater is going to have a passer rating somewhere north of 500 in a few weeks. Louisville has a lot of options on offense.
  15. Fiesta Bowl Orange Bowl Sugar Bowl Next...
  16. I thought it was very clear which team had the more experienced staff.
  17. Smith's lofting passes will be a serious liability later in the season.
  18. IMO, Kentucky's staff feels the same way. Scheme-wise they are sleep-walking through this game.
  19. Tough to watch this one. Hate cheering against Bobby and his staff, and hate cheering against the Toppers, but Louisville needs Kentucky to be more respectable than this. Kentucky is lucky to be close right now.
  20. Towles to transfer? He needs to do it ASAP if that's his plan.
  21. No one is trying very hard to murder pitchers while they're throwing.
  22. Lolwut? If, on the off chance anything about this is serious, Louisville has desired a series resumption for some time.
  23. I think I said in another thread that my understanding was that Kevin and Chane broke curfew and did a tour at the Daniel Pitino shelter. So he certainly has been disciplined lately.
